  1. Is your water pump weeping and the coolant is running down and towards the trans? What year? Open or closed system?
  2. Will you ever finish one of them?
  3. MeanLemons used to make them and sold his stuff. This is from his last post: ”This gig has been sold to Trevor of SkankFoot Racing. if anybody need throttle bodies. You can contact him at Trevor.skankfootracing@gmail.com he also have Instagram; skankfoot_racing.”
  4. VIN only has 16 digits, should be 1J7FJ66S0NL193515
  5. Got the WilderNest mounted to the trailer yesterday. Since it’s ~3” shorter than the bed there’s a stainless steel L-shaped filler piece at the front but it flexes and I don’t think it will make a good seal so I added a piece of 2” angle iron on the inside to sandwich the filler to the shell. Drilled a few holes through the angle iron as cargo tie down points.
  6. You know what would look fantastic? And they’re all the same size.
  7. A couple tips if anyone is doing this: -It’s very difficult to put the bulb seal in if the hinges are in place. -Wet the area of the tent that gets screwed down so it will stretch easily.
  8. The tent (8-ounce nylon pack-cloth) has a waterproof polyurethane coating on the inside that appears intact except for a couple places on the vertical ends. I want to get it back on the trailer before next week’s rains and will test it for water leakage, then go from there.
  9. Just finished final assembly, next is putting it on the trailer with the new seal. I’ll post more pictures when that happens, hopefully Sunday but here’s a couple.
  10. ^^^ Great looking truck!

  12. The tent supports are basically 1” ID zinc plated steel pipes connected with copper elbows. The ends that pivot to raise them were collapsed by over tightened hardware so I expanded them back out using some sockets. I then inserted 1” solid plastic rods for support which also made inserting the quick release pins easier not having to “hunt” for the hole on the other side.
  13. Battery is replaceable and just carry a regular relay just in case.

  15. That bed liner finish was pissing me off so I punctured the cans, poured out the remaining material and rolled it on.
  16. Saw it in person yesterday, the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s the nicest looking Comanche anyone will ever see.
  17. If you add the VIN to the registry we can tell you if it’s a true Metric Ton.
  18. @ghetdjc320 makes custom switch panel faces, look in the vendor section.
  19. Cerakote does a good job on them. Just make sure to thoroughly clean them first.
  20. I tried NTK, Bosch and OmixAda none worked properly. Let us know how the retest goes after the exhaust leak was fixed. Good luck.
  21. They are replacement sheet metal to fix damaged panels.
  22. This was my experience if you haven’t found it already.
