  1. Nice looking CJ8! I had one for "a bit" (1993-2010) it was my daily driver until it became a trailer queen. Enjoy the ride buddy! This is trailer queen mode
  2. I am saddened to hear this news, thanks for letting us know AZjeff I never met Pete in person, but we had some great conversations here on the forums, and boy howdy, did was that guy a wealth of knowledge! Soar in peace Pete!
  3. It can be true, but the engine needs to be built, not just bolted on to 😁 I ran a Clifford manifold, and header on my 258 and it was good, not great but that's because my engine wasn't blueprinted. To fix exhaust leaks look to remflex.com they make THE BEST exhaust/intake gaskets
  4. Don't forget you will need a tool to press the new one on, it doesn't just slip on easy, I used a steering wheel puller to do this (I'm crafty like that) You only need to press it on to a point where the bolt grabs thread, but to avoid stripping out the threads press the new one on as far as you can.
  5. so true!
  6. DANA 60 time!! LOL jk I agree with the others, definitely swap in a whole new axle, or waste time and money trying to patch together what you have.

  16. Well seems I'm alone up here in the North! I found some potential roads right out my back door, I'll let ya'll know what I discover! All those dashed lines are "Jeep" trails. the mountain is covered in them. I suspect some of these roads (if not all) are going to be overgrown or behind gates. The discover is the adventure!
  17. I just moved to Everson WA and am looking for some information on how to get to the mountain tops around here. I think there are a lot of private forests but there has to be some public access close by as well ? Lemme know if you know, ya know?

  20. Way to represent WA State Minche!
  21. The local auto glass place here in Snohomish quoted me $300 to replace mine, including gasket. Maybe they have a time machine for parts delivery or something...
  22. I bought a closed system replacement radiator from RockAuto.com it's working great. The only "thing" I ran into was the auxiliary fan switch sending unit thread did not match the treads in the new radiator, so I relocated the switch.
  23. Sorry this is happening to you! Losing a job, unexpectedly (and in general) is not fun. I'm sure you'll find something else, and hopefully better. Endings are also beginnings, hopefully these words are helpful! P.S. as others have said, you have nothing to apologize for here, ya done good man!
