  1. Trying to get some information as I will possibly be buying this. As far as I know it’s a 89 swb 2wd with a 4.0 and a automatic. I’ll add pics if I end up buying it.
  2. Your Instagram is private, post some pics here
  3. @Griff711 If you want someone who will for sure take care of it and treat her right I’d post it up in our classified section first. Might take a little longer to sell here than on fakebook but it will probably go to a good home. Rear glass is just an aftermarket 4 pane. Also the rear bumper, wheels, and stepsides appear to be aftermarket. Interior and floorboard shots would help determine the value a little better.
  4. Black and red it might not be as bad, something about all that yellow. And I read the article and it does sound like it would be a blast to drive but for the 7k asking price that thing is way to “personalized”. And as ugly as it is I still wouldn’t want to see it go to the crusher, there’s for sure a ton of time and effort put into it. Not to mention a twisted imagination.
  5. I didnt even read the article, too much cringe.

  7. That vented rear window that @eaglescout526 has. The chrome front end would definitely ad to the 80’s factor.
  8. Have you offered them 2k to see what they’d say? Couldn’t hurt if you really want it.
  9. Comes with an engine hoist, I wonder if the sellers trying to say something without actually saying it?
  10. That’s a great shot. Is that a wrap or photoshop? Cause that’s pretty cool, I’ve never seen that before.
  11. Have the same problem with one of mine so I used 3m double sided tape and cut real thin strips. It doesn't work to well in the cold just a heads up. Something like this: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/3m-super-strength-molding-tape-1-2-x-5-ft-03609/6012221-p?product_channel=local&store=5106&adtype=pla&product_channel=local&store_code=5106&gclid=CjwKCAiA57D_BRAZEiwAZcfCxRuCV25aexE_QzSWRPwsjWkuEdvfpH24Wbh9tiE5kANny4M7mvqvihoCEZYQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  12. I used this video when I removed mine, I only broke some of the plastic clips that hold the trim but not the trim itself. Not sure of the value but if you don’t want it I’m sure someone else can get some use out of it.
  13. Ham A Christmas Story or A Christmas Carol?
  14. 2nd post by @fiatslug87 gives a bit of detail on the 4x4 locations.
  15. Looks good, I like the color you chose for the engine. And I think painting the bay black was a good call, it all goes together nicely.

    Snow

We had maybe 3 inches on Wednesday followed by freezing rain so now there’s a sheet of ice on top of that but it’s all slowly melting. Hope we get some more this winter. Mid snow at work Demolished abandon house in the woods
  17. I can’t speak for the quality as I’ve never used them but being 1.5-2 inch lift for xjs you may see a 1 inch of lift. Also you can buy them brand new for $60 usd so I don’t know why he’s saying there 1/2 priced. https://www.quadratec.com/p/rough-country/adjustable-lift-shackles-jeep-cherokee-xj-comanche-mj-1077
  18. Thanks man she’s coming along. Honestly I just got lucky at the JY one day, they had a 85 XJ with some pretty good options and I just happened to be the first one to get to it.
  19. Got the day off from work so I took the MJ out for a drive in the snow, wasn’t a lot of accumulation but the roads were covered and she did great. Made sure to give her a good rinse as soon as I got home
  20. Power windows Rattle can or Bed liner paint job?
  21. Had some issues today too, my engine temp wouldn’t go higher than 175 on my way to work and on my way home my driver caliper locked up. Just when you think you can take a break from wrenching Jeeps just pull you back in. Best of luck on the wheel bearing, hopefully you’ve made it home or to a shop by now
  22. Back road porno red or blue interior?
