  1. Some great scenery! Looking forward to the videos.
  2. I suspect that its the IAC. Be sure to clean your throttle body and IAC. If you don't have one already, I'd recommend getting an REM.
  3. For what it’s worth, I haven’t seen any on my January of 89 built 89.
  4. Wow! Great find!
  5. Hopefully the words were, "Get that Comanche done"! I'm glad that you didn't get too much damage internally.
  6. This depends on a number of factors, but I’d start at 32psi.
  7. Any plans to add something that would help protect the header panel?
  8. If I were you, I'd start with the @boxyjeep speaker brackets and new, larger speakers.
  9. That is a terrible spot for a ground, no wonder that it got rusty. Funny that it’s always the ones you can’t see that go bad.
  10. Cruiser is rolling over in his grave seeing that . Glad you got it fixed though.
  11. Make sure you read through some threads on the full 97 swap first. I know the pedals are difference and the steering column hole of the firewall area needs to be changed. Honestly, with the REM, I think that Renix is just as reliable as an OBDII Jeep. Even the later XJs are still becoming old cars at this point, so before long, I suspect that they will have similar issues that Renix is known for.

Best MJ story- Going to the all breeds jeep show for the first time and connecting with a ton of people from this club and hanging out all night with everyone. CC is Awesome! Why? Just the whole community aspect and people willing to help out or just chat. Running into someone from the club out in the wild and chatting like we've been friends for a while. For some of our more... seasoned members, yes, this truck has been MJOTM before. This truck has gone through tons of changes since then, between the repairs and the upgrades. Here is the MJOTM thread from nearly 5 years ago for anyone interested:
  13. That is pretty obnoxious looking. That said, it would be a shame for this truck to be restored. What a time capsule!
  14. I hope whoever committed those war crimes to that truck never breeds. Great save!
  15. Hopefully it brings a pretty penny!
  16. Don’t know who is worse for that, the customers or their kids!
  17. Just more pics. Those are metric 35s on it right now.
  18. Front four link is installed with temporary springs and the rear fenders are primed. Brother is now in NC now for school.
  19. Now that my parents are empty nesters until the ends of the semester, Dad can finally get back on this, still part time because he has customer cars. The smooth firewall is now installed.

Its come a long way from home.
  21. What do you mean your tail lights don’t work anymore? I think you might be having an issue with a ground or with wiring.
  22. I find this hard to believe. This must just be giving Edelbrock plausible deniability. I have a Renix intake on a 0630 HO head and it didn't require any modifications other than slight grinding to get it to clear the HO exhaust manifold. As long as a Renix intake gasket is used, it should be alright.
