Local parts stores should be able to get them for you. Just bring one of yours in to verify size and make sure they are rated for fuel

When you say this, are you talking about a 97-01 e fan?

I was looking (briefly) at some of the Aluminium ones on Amazon. The reviews seem pretty good and they are a lot cheaper than I have found the Mishimoto. The irritating part is that all of my hoses are already new.

Thank you. I think I do like the route of just doing the radiator. If I were to do a higher flow water pump, my concern would be it flowing too quickly with an OEM type radiator and it wouldn’t be able to cool quick enough. Even if I did a higher flower pump with an upgraded radiator, I don’t think the truck would get up into the operating temperature quick enough.

Yeah, once sucks. Three is too many. I could have, but now the truck is home and we are back on the way to PA with my mom’s JKU.
-
My truck has left me on the side of the road three times due to cooling system fails (water pump, coolant pressure tank, and now what we assume to be the radiator in the way to PA). Needless to say I am fed up with the closed loop system (even though it wasn’t at fault the first time). I am going to convert the truck to open loop, but I am interested in hearing about upgrades along the way. What are the thoughts on high flow water pumps, different fans (electric or different mechanical fans), and upgraded radiators. The Mishimoto looks nice, but no $425 nice.

I appreciate it anyways. Thankfully I was in a small convoy, so we were able to at least get me off of the interstate.
-
I broke down about 40 minutes from home. This is the second time the closed loop system has failed on me, so I’m done messing with it. I will probably be looking at upgrading in the next few days.
-
I could, but the truck is home at this point and I am 2.5 hours away. I’m not putting a closed loop cooling system back in it either. No sense in keeping the system that has failed on me twice now. I was halfway between my home and Madison, WI near Tomah.

Not anymore. Radiator let go.

If they say their club affiliation is Comanche Club, we still should be able to win.

Nope. These are the correct ones for the aftermarket aluminum wheels that I have.

Today is the beginning of my road trip with my family and some family friends out to Niagara Falls and then the All Breeds Jeep Show. I’m going to be driving the MJ the whole way. Today’s plan is to go from Holmen, WI and end up past Gary, IN. The current plan is to leave at 1:00. Stay tuned for the evening update with how far we actually made it.

Hitting the road today around 1:00 for the All Breeds Jeep Show and Niagara Falls.

Check them regularly. I was torquing mine quick on Sunday while finishing prep for the truck’s road trip and the lug nut broke. It wasn’t bottomed out on the brake rotor either, it just broke. It must have had a hairline crack in it.
-
And it would hide my non cracked dash. I’m proud of that thing I do need to do something to protect it though.
-
To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of those. They just seem like dust and dirt traps.
-
Thank you!

New dash pictures. The interior is complete at least until after the Jeep show. I still have things that I want to do to it at some point (new mini console, radio from Minuit, new seat cover, and recover the headliner), but it’s going to have to be good enough for now. We also waxed the paint today.
-
New dash is in. Forgot a picture. Tomorrow hopefully. I also still want to give it a wax and change the oil before leaving Tuesday.

Twister has a sweet J10 in it along with a Dually Squarebody Suburban.

It’s fairly easy to do. It took me about 1.5 hours to get it out. I couldn’t stand the crack. Agreed!
