Well since we are talking about MoPar T-stats, Chrysler uses MotoRad brand T-stats now and clearly swears by them for their 5.7L hemi. Here is a part number of the kit they sell that includes the gasket:

Well after one hell of a day at work and all that jazz I decided to go out and replace the rear shocks. I think a week of owning these things is enough prep time to install the shocks. As per the DIY of installing the JK shocks, you do absolutely have to replace the top rear bushing. Good thing my skyjacker shocks happened to have those exact bushings still in good shape. So they got swapped and are now installed. I'll get a picture tomorrow when the oven light turns back on.

The mirror part number I provided superseded back in 1988, discontinued in 2012. Chrysler says it works up till the 2001 model year. There’s one part number before it that runs from 84-92 then it supersedes. I have one of these new part number mirror and it fits I just like the look of my old mirror. As for the fuel pump on the ‘91 and ‘92 fuel sending unit, none exist as new old stock. I have access to a more updated catalog of parts and I can see where parts are at and if the superseded or not.

Well that sucks. I don't know how much help I can be but I gotta ask a few questions just to get us somewhere. How old is the battery? Did you go over every connection and check for corrosion/good grounds before you left? Has the alternator been charging properly/putting out correct volts?

What?! I have never heard of them forcing you to sell it. You will be forced to get your vehicle repaired until it is fixed and can not be on the road until it is fixed after the third time but they don’t force you to sell it out of emissions zone.

Have you tried Phoenix cylinder head? They are here local and they might have some heads in stock but may or may not be able to tell you if they have a 0331 head or not. I had my head rebuilt by them and they did a great job.

Alright well I’ve been searching for a few hours and I can’t seem to find the other end and a good chunk of mixed reviews of the quick connect. Guess I’ll just stick with the union fitting for now and tighten it some more.

Has anyone ever used one of these? They come on every new slave cylinder and I have the old fashioned union fitting that I really am damn tired of using. If so does anyone have a link to what the quick connect that comes on our slave cylinders fit? I really don’t know what I’m looking for as this is new to me.

It’s all plug and play. You need to change the temp and oil pressure from a sensor. As long as it didn’t come from a ‘91 and newer or an ‘86 and down you are golden. You may need to adjust the tech depending on which engine you have.

Well I got something done that has been needing to be done for over a decade: These look beautiful. The upholstery shop that I gave these to did a marvelous job. They basically made me new visors. And all this for 50 dollars. I am pleased Side note #1, The slave cylinder failed me today. Time to bring Little Red down and get to work.(Done. Started at 18:00 and finished before 22:30.) Side note #2, Snagged a take off set of JK suspension from work. I saw the write up for them and I'm gonna make free work for me.

That’s what Chrysler was putting them there for. Many people complained about pump noise in the cabin on the XJ and that was the remedy for it. It’s also a quick bypass, not really a way to disable the vehicle unless someone knows what they are looking at.

That’s the fuel ballast resistor. It’s there to quiet the amount of noise the fuel pump produces. Most everyone here bypasses it unless you want original looks to your truck

Lol. Just about everything I have painted and followed with clear coat is doing pretty well. The one that is the most noticeable is the upper trim above the grill. It’s holding pretty well. I use rustoleums automotive clear

You won’t have to entirely rewire. The original factory connectors come apart and you can use the connectors inside the plastic housing to connect to the terminals on the euramtec lights. But you’ll have to file or sand the B-pillar opening to fit the eurmatec lights.
