Britain was highly against another sea based invasion after what happened at Gallipoli and Churchill had a hard time living that down. It took our generals to convince Britain to aid in the operation.

Now I know y’all probably have very little info about who I am and what my likes are. Well here’s one of them. I’m a huge history buff and WWII fan. Well today 75 years ago the brave men and some women who enlisted under the allies landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6th 1944 to liberate France from the clutches of the Third Reich. Some might know this but there were three other operations along side overlord. Neptune, Bodyguard and fortitude. Neptune was the largest seaborn invasion since the landings of Gallipoli in WWI. Fortitude was the operation to safe guard the D-day landings information from the Nazis and bodyguard was the operation that pissed off Gen. Patton and used him along with the inflatable decoys to fool the nazis into a land invasion that will occur in Belgium. Today we shall remember and honor what all those men and women did on that day and the life they gave to ensure the world would not be in the fist of the Third Reich.

Check the screw connections on the gauge itself. I have a gauge right now(not in the truck) that won’t read because one of the copper wires broke off at the connection.

Oddly enough I am sort of digging the bumper delete.

Does that black sportruck in that poster not have a rear bumper?

I’d love to have a box of those. I’d casually slip them into some of vehicles here at the dealer that are being worked on.

Just the front ones. I don't know about the rears. I remember a few talks about replacing rear sockets but I honestly don’t know if anyone found a viable replacement as the Cherokee rears are too small.

I have a dilemma. As we all know, a lot of the accessories part numbers for our trucks are missing and not known. I’ve been scouring every single accessory part number and I got to 82200900. Anyways I stumbled upon a cargo rail kit that a dealer had as NOS. Ordered it and got it. I think it fits a short bed because the total length of it is 5ft and no installation instructions sadly but some paperwork from penda bedliners. So I’m wondering how goofy would it look on a long bed and would a long bed cargo rail be 6ft long?

If you have to replace that socket, make sure you get the later XJ sockets. They are much better and are metal instead of plastic.
