  20. I did not touch ‘92 sadly. My best guess would be either may or June for the last production as I noticed that new model years began on July and ended in June of that model year.
  21. The earliest build date I found in '86 was 8/5/85 if I remember correctly. I just returned home from vacation so I'm going to work on all this stuff and finish up the '88 registry. I may be on to something as far as trim levels with the body codes that JMO posted,

  24. Most of everyone on here will tell you to do an AX15 swap. Here’s the problem though. Locating a 2.5L AX15 bell housing. They are not easy to find. They came behind Dodge Dakotas between the years of 96-02 if I remember correctly. AX5 on the other hand is a fine light duty trans, you can’t beat on it as hard as you could with an AX15.
