  1. How did you check the fuse? That is the main power for the TCU, Have you ever visited my website and completed Tips 1 through 5? 10 would be a good one to complete also. That TCU grounds at the most problematic ground point on your Jeep.

  4. I used to recommend leaving the closed system alone. But, I don't anymore. The plastic pressure bottles available now are absolute junk. Take the opportunity to convert now.

  6. In 1991, they went from a 20mm oil filter nipple to a 3/4" nipple. The metric filter threads on but also doesn't hold properly. Stripped oil filter threads or your oil filter loosening up are the result if you use the later filter in an earlier application.   8. Finding one that FITS is easy. Finding one that PERFORMS is when the factory stat comes into play.
  9. Cleaning the coil connections won't cause a "no crank" condition. Explore the battery cables and starter wiring. Key ON, you should see lights on the dash. What do those lights do when key turned to "Start"?
