  1. Jiffy Lube likely uses cheapo filters. Clean the connector to the switch first.
  2. That minivan is a Renault!!!!
  3. Yep. Had no memory of the last setting of the IAC.
  4. I've just taken a grommet that fits, sliced to the middle with a razor blade, removed enough material to make the harness fit snugly. Use black RTV to seal as needed.
  5. I looked. I don't have one. I traded off a bunch of my stuff to a guy half my age in seligman, Arizona. I need to go through a bunch of cool stuff I saved. EGR tubes, wiper delay modules, starter relays, sensors etc. EGR solenoid.
  6. You're a knucklehead. Not really. I think they were in different sections. Any idea how many times I've slept sine then?
  7. You guys grab ANYTHING I post that you might need in the future.
  8. Yep. Easy to test what you've got now. Sender reading correctly ohms vs temp? Correct sender? Cluster reading correctly ohms vs temp? C100 connector have the resistance? You guys need to freely save and share the stuff I post up. It's not MY stuff. It's OUR stuff.
  9. This thread has to be the BEST electrical help thread I've ever seen. A willing OP, and so many helpful members putting their collective heads together. I'm not kidding here. That said, here's how I visualize you guys brain storming.
  10. and here's some more stuff for you to save.
  11. There is a tool for testing the gauge. And there's this:
  12. Test the IAT and CTS then.
  13. I am recovering from covid. I can meander out to the storage building once it warms up a bit. Pete
  14. Of course I'd pin it out!!
  15. I may have one. I've gotten rid of most my Jeep parts.
  16. Well, when I put a switch inline to the TCU, if the switch was closed, the TC would lock up. Switch to open the switch and the TC wouldn't lock up. When pedal is depressed, brake switch completes that circuit. When pedal is depressed, the TCC circuit breaks.
  17. TCC switch cuts the circuit when peal is depressed. Did you ever see my Cadillac switch fix?
  18. What are you trying to do?
  19. Yes. Those of us with real arms do benefit from the driveshaft drop.
  20. Remove the firewall ground. scrape to bare metal. Clean the connector and reinstall. should do the same on the block side. Or, add a cable from the firewall to intake manifold.
  21. Exactly how it went down with my wife's 88 XJ....
  22. In case I haven't mentioned this in this thread. On one of the XJ forums we had a member that used a lumen meter at work. He went to the trouble of measuring stock headlamp lumen output before and after the aftermarket headlamp harness installation. A 35% improvement!! Harness only!!
