  1. Fusible links are located at the starter relay.
  2. Welcome mbrady. Go to www.cruiser54.com and complete tips 1 through 5 first chance you get.
  3. If you're getting 39 PSI of fuel pressure at idle instead of 31, you will have a low idle. TPS should be 17 or less. Sort the fuel pressure stuff next. And, Renix doesn't learn TPS adjustment. The ECM sees exactly what the MT 2500 does.
  4. Go drive it. Ever clean your throttle body? Of my Tips on www.cruiser54.com, which have you completed?
  5. Not uncommon. At the dealership, we would check the intake bolts at the 30,000 mile service and generally find a few of them loose.
  6. I'm still curious to know what can be seen through the oil filler hole with the engine running.
  7. No way!!!
  8. Yes. Older oil filters are 20mm thread and 91 and later are 3/4" threads.
  9. Remove the oil pressure sender and run a zip-tie through the hole? Perhaps sludged up? Have you observed the rockers getting oil or not while running?
  10. I just checked an 88 Owner's Manual. Same procedure as 91 and later. Being as there is no mention of the vehicle having a limited slip, or any cautions, I'd say you're good to go.
  11. That's the answer. It should switch very fast.
  12. But it's only an issue if you have a locker, correct?
  13. Doesn't the MT2500 allow you to watch the O2 sensor in real time?
  14. Perfect. I don't seem to remember any "not true neutral" from my days as Service Manager at the dealership. What is that?
  15. Driving without a ballast resistor causes no issues,
  16. Holy moly!!! Yes, thanks for your service.
  17. So, it turns over and starts? Then dies quickly? If so, it might be a bad fuel pump ballast resistor. You can bypass it for testing purposes and see what happens.
  18. I've also had both systems over the years. Renix is quite simple and performs well.
  19. These are failure prone. And so are loose intake manifold bolts.
  20. Prayers for Don from here.
  21. Cheap Replacement Auto Parts aka CRAP.
  22. SOLD!!!! What's next?
  23. So, it's working now?
