  1. I might have a good used one.....
  2. I'd do what is recommended above FIRST!
  3. CRUISER'S MOSTLY RENIX TIPS RENIX VACUUM HARNESSES NOVEMBER 17, 2015 SALAD 17 COMMENTS The vacuum harness that attaches to the front of the valve cover and includes the grommet/fitting, and is called the front harness, is Napa part number BK 715-1367 or is a Dorman 46003. The vacuum harness that is closest to the air cleaner, EGR etc, and is called the rear harness, is Napa part number BK 715-1366 or is a Dorman 46004. The tube from the rear of the valve cover to the intake manifold is part number BK 715-1365 or Dorman 46005 and comes with the valve cover grommet. The Throttle Body to MAP hose is no longer available. Click HERE to access a fix for that.
  4. jhc7399@gmail.com is a Cherokee Forum vendor. I've gotten numerous sets from him.
  5. A little trick for future reference: You only need to disconnect the rail at the fuel pressure regulator. It will move out far enough to facilitate the installation of injectors.
  6. Did you adjust the ignition switch properly down on the column? Did you know the switches are different for tilt vs non-tilt wheel?
  7. Yes. And make sure the TV cable is adjusted properly.
  8. And it's there so they could meet fuel mileage standards on the simulated driver's loop. Best use for it is remove the bulb and save it for some other location someday.
  9. I only know Julie and that's only from phone conversations. She's great.
  10. Great!!!!!
  11. So, you know Julie......
  12. Make sure you index it properly.
  13. Some kind of dump valve or something. Normally uncapped just like in the photo.
  14. Been 3 weeks. I haven't felt this good in over 10 years!!! All the subtle symptoms I had been attributing to "old age".
  15. ZJ box is a bolt in with a nicer ratio. Why not change the fluid first? Simply suck the fluid out of the pump with an old turkey baster best you can. Refill with new fluid and see what happens. folks tend to never change their power steering fluid or bleed their brakes.
  16. How about a good used box from a Grand Cherokee ZJ? Have you ever changed the fluid?
  17. Have you indexed the distributor? Are all the grounds at the dipstick tube stud clean and shiny? Or painted over?
  18. Always make sure the heater door is closing completely!! Now, when it comes to one guy's experience to anothers.... I've done this on at least 10 vehicles.......
  19. Your pump is junk...... The extra noise they made was barely noticeable when new to anyone who didn't have exceptional hearing. It was a hissing sound that mostly only women could hear. You're barking up the wrong tree.
  20. I've never noticed a difference using an AC vent thermometer before and after deletion and I live in Arizona. So, what is more uncomfortable? POSSIBLY, but not probably having higher AC vent temps, or sitting alongside the road on a hot and humid day with an exploded heater control valve? And that's what they tend to do. Come apart unexpectedly and nearly empty your cooling system before you know it.......
  21. Nope. None of that stuff. I stayed awake for the procedure, watching it on the monitor!!!
  22. Doing great after a week. Worked 10 plus hours a day Monday through Thursday, and 8 hours on Friday. I really haven't felt this good in years!!!!
  23. I'd rather reuse factory parts, like I have for 50 years. Only ever got new u-bolts when doing a lift or something where they were too short. Also, what's "new" anymore? Shiny reverse engineered chinese crap? Look at the failure rate of the chinese stuff!! They don't care about our safety. Hell, they've poisoned baby food, dog food, put lead in paint.
