  1. There should be a wire approx 4 in long with a flat disc like terminal on one end and a slip on blade terminal on the other. The wire goes thru the center of the spring. The flat disc part is down and slides on the shiny surface you saw thru the hole. The other end connects to a spade terminal on the horn button. There should be a plastic sleeve slides over the wire and pushes on the spring that fits snug in the hole and holds everything together. Hopefully somebody will chime in with pics. Otherwise I'll get some in the morn.
  2. Aww that's nothing. You should have seen my face when I shaved using a chain saw because I couldn't find my razor.
  3. Tell me about it. Wish I remembered where I left the puter so I could answer that. :hmm:
  4. You got it. If you can reach the loose nut with a wrench, or vise grips, then remove the bolt. Otherwise you have to remove the head of the bolt. cutting torch, grinder or hammer and chisel and then drop the plate.
  5. Sure hope she's a she and not a he because i think she's kind of cute.
  6. When you're 'Light headed' you don't need much neck support.

  9. I make all my driveshafts out of flex tubing. Don't have to worry about angles.
  10. Any body can just go out and buy a truck. But the memory of bringing one back from the dead and making a running, good looking truck with your own hands is something you can't buy. Congrats on the COTM nomination.
  11. Tnx for the info gogmondo. Considering the location of the alternator and the carb, FI set up '91 makes more sense than '93. I tried Google before I posted the question. All I got was pop ups and spam making reading any useful information impossible.
  12. Any body got an older car they're working on might want to check my ad under 'For Sale'. Pretty well covers everything American made from 1935 to 1981. These are the full size hard cover books. Most of them are in very good condition but they were used in a working shop so some shows more wear than others. All the pages are there and every word is readable. Thought I would give CC members a shot at them before I post on EBay or contact a flea market vendor. Prices are not etched in stone. Don't be afraid to make an offer. The worst I can do is send ya an unmarked package in the mail.
  13. Go West, young man, go West.
  14. :agree: to both previous posts. Believe it to be Rancho just because of the Red.
  15. About 6 months ago I pulled the 2.8 engine from a 1993 S10, I thought, to replace the busted one in a '86 MJ. A week ago I finally got around to installing it. It seems the engine is not a '93 and I'm having a no luck in identifying it. Any one know the year for the engine ID A9 10908FKJ? Any help gratefully appreciated. :dunno:
  16. Correction. The wire(s) are light Blue with Black tracer.
  17. There should be a wire behind and at the bottom of the grill for fogs. If I remember right it's red, but I'm not sure about the color.
  18. I bet I can really confuse things. If you're not familiar with electricity don't bother reading this. Think of horse power, HP as voltage E. Think of torque as Current or amperage I. The voltage provides the potential to do work but does nothing itself. The current does the work but it needs a potential, voltage to determine how much work it can do. The higher the potential, E, the more work the current, I, can do.Or something like that.
  19. How much difference is there between a '87-'88 fuse box dash harness, of which I have many and a '90, of which i don't have any? Don't text. Fingers to big for them keyboards.
  20. Why would anybody possibly want that for? No stereo.
  21. There sure is a lot of brain power expenditure cited above and they all miss the real happening. DUCT TAPE!! That's right kiddies. Duct tape. They wrap everything in duct tape. Block, heads, rods, crank and cam shaft, bearings, Everything. Ever see a duct tape wrapped spark plug fire? IMPRESSIVE!
  22. If they were closer I'd go $500 for both of them.
  23. I always brake et down entu ceela bulls to spel sumtheng. Comanche=See-Oh-Em-Ay-In-See-Atche-Ee- Seeohemayinseeatcheee=Comanche. See how easy that was? :hmm:
  24. Deliver it for another $20.? After all, it's just a short hop out of the way from Mi to Ga.
  25. No HO'S. Just Renix. Newest MJ I got is a '90 4.0. Would like to get my sweaty paws on a 91 and 92. Make my collection complete. Got a bunch of HO XJ'S, ZJ and WJ.When I get the time, going to be doing a couple engines swaps.
