  1. Had a '14 JKU for a year. Nice car! Decent mileage. Expensive to modify. That's my take. Now I'd like to try a 2-door for a spell but I gotta find a blown up one or smashed one...
  2. See this on Facebook yesterday. Maybe it's what he's talking about. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u6UeJXkzDW8
  3. It takes some pulling teeth but twice this year I had the City Auto Glass dispatch load up glass and gasket for a 97 jeep cherokee and they came and did both of my MJs. On my green jeep it was even a insurance job. $300ish for the white one out of pocket.
  4. Chrome plated -- they'll turn to rust in a year. Do they take a 3/4" socket, or do they need a 13/16" socket? 3/4 I've bought probably around 50 of them over the years and never had a issue with rust.
  5. These are what I've used. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92806_100X_PG.htm
  6. I'd guess $70 for shipping.
  7. Did you get your front skid? I have one I'd sell ya. $20 plus the ride.
  8. I have a full set in nice condition with center caps. Willing to ship or possibly meet in southern MN with them for fuel costs. Around $150 is what I'd ask to meet. I'd take $200 for the wheels with center caps. Pm me if you'd like to see pics.
  9. It will wheel nice! I know it's good at that. Lots of practice.
  10. My brakes work just fine with the MJ prop valve, and the load sensor removed and the port plugged in the prop valve and line plugged in the back. WJ Master/booster ZJ discs Be aware not all WJs have the flex lines.
  11. Turd polish level: EXPERT :)
  12. Having owned a Patriot for 2 years, they are junk. Clunky, and feel cheap. My guess is the the renegade is the same type of build.
  13. 3.5 with 33s is super easy to do..... Run 35s for a real COG look and function.
  14. They did a NSG 370 6-speed. Little less robust then the ax15 or nv3550 but pegs the cool factor meter.
  15. I didn't swap the prop valve when I went to rear discs and WJ master/booster set up. You do have to cut a line and plug a line in the back for the load sensor tho.

    Funeral

Not his sister, just a spokesperson on his behalf in the industry.

    Funeral

My wife and I met him in Moab over EJS. What a nice guy! Tragic accident.. :( I'm confused on how Charlene Bowers is his sister. We met her too at the Crawl readers ride... Her name isn't in the obit.
  19. Sweet. I didn't think they where available anymore at all.

    Prairie Fire

When I was in CO this last week, they where burning like crazy all around Grand Junction, CO. Assuming prescribed burns.
  21. I was out there with mine too.. I got chased down by those same guys at the jeep booth to answer questions about a jeep truck... They where not from jeep. They where a separate group doing research. Yea there was that group in the "white tent". The guys we talked to were not part of that group. Ah ok. Did you talk to the dudes in the white tent? It was a interesting experience for sure. I was most impressed with the green WKII dizzle myself!
  22. Anybody got any installed pics?
  23. Guy in my club ran them on his TJ. He wrecked a tire in Moab and bought a set of these out there. He liked them out there for wheeling, driving home on them and also wheeling here at home. Jeep was a DD/wheeler.
  24. They shoulda came with a 3" lift from the factory. Looks great!
