Wow I have slacking something fierce on this... Truck is DONEish... Spent a week wheeling it in Moab, and out around 1k road miles.. Looks like I got my work cut out for me on here now.

Be aware they usually rust from the inside out.. It might be too far already.

I planned to build brackets to carry mine with on my recent trip. After 30 min of looking everything over, I decided to just put it back in the corner of the garage and leave it. I have a aluminum floor jack that I bring with for tire changes. Also, everybody and their brother carries a dang hi lift so if you should need one on the trail for (???) you could just borrow one! The only time I've used mine is at home processing jeeps before they go for scrap.

I was out there with mine too.. I got chased down by those same guys at the jeep booth to answer questions about a jeep truck... They where not from jeep. They where a separate group doing research.

I work in steel mine for US Steel. I operate shovels in the pit now. (Used to drive truck, then operate equipment, now shovels) P&H 2800 XPB is the main one. CAT 6060 CAT 6040 P&H 2300 And I still play with 992, 993, 994 loaders once in awhile! Love it.

They have blue loc tight from the factory. I used never seize on mine.

I would not worry about a locker. Wheel with out one for awhile. That axle has been run in that condition for over 10 years! Who knows what's going on in there! Gears are super easy to set up in a 8.25 also. And they are a dime a dozen. If you need help finding one, let me know.

Order a bearing for a 1974 CJ with a 304. Works like a charm.
