  1. Jeep club member has a '14 EcoDiesel and absolutely loves it. 28mpg. He pulls 10k with it frequently for farm work also. I think he's got around 15k miles on it with zero issues to date. Just re read and see you where asking about a Hemi truck. Sorry, carry on...
  2. I think it's worse here. On CC you can offer a part up for free, then the cheap "person" who wants it asks if you could ship it free also. True story. :shake: Free is one thing... Been there done that for forum members. But asking to ship for free? Rude. If that ever happened to me I would NOT be happy. That's not the CC way. Jeepers tend to be cheap. The unibody guys like us are especially cheap. JK guys, well they can't be. So it's all over the map. Price what the truck is worth to you and go from there.
  3. I'm a huge fan of OE wheels. They just last. Now I live in the salt infested north tho. Aftermarket wheels last maybe 2-3 years at best before they look terrible. I had those DCII wheels and they looked like crap even sooner. Buy a set of spacers, good ones, and run some JK wheels. They are the best bang for the buck IMO right now. I've paid up to $350 for 5 wheels and as low as $50 for 5 wheels. The deals are out there!
  4. Yep. That's the plan. And leave it flexed out often when it's parked.
  5. Definitely going on the wish list for the next quadratec order! Never knew there was such a thing.
  6. I have: IRO 3" coils WJ adjustable arms (4) Hell creek leafs. This is on my SWB and it rides like a lumber wagon. But the springs are not even close to being broke in. I'm thinking after they got some miles on them, they will be ok.
  7. They shouldnt be, zone has a pretty BA MJ. They should know what up. lol https://www.google.com/search?q=zone+comanche&client=firefox-a&hs=7U0&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=sBl_UaSrMKWH0QHyrIGwCQ&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAQ&biw=1228&bih=683#imgrc=_ Yeah that's all fine and dandy.... But it really doesn't have much MJ left.
  8. ... or your avatar? :D If I could find a pic small enough I would... :)
  9. The only highway speeds that thing seen when I had it was on a trailer. :/
  10. Turns out the computer was dead on. Amazing. Here's a from last weekend. My trucks and a friends v8 ranger and his truck.
  11. Suppose I should update the build thread.... Lol
  12. Thanks Ben. I try my hardest to be the best I can be in the jeep world. It's my life! Here's a few more pics from the shake down run this weekend. This jeep's first day out of the garage was last Tuesday.... Been a few years!
  13. It's gotta come back off anyway. I'll be doing that then.
  14. Well the weatherstripping idea worked. I was able to find a certain type that worked great. No it's not a perfect fit, but it's 100 times better then the cousole just floating there. Still sticks up a little but on the drivers side... I'm still gonna count it as a successful MJ project. That stuff wasn't cheap tho.. $17 for 4 feet.
  15. That's a lot of money....
  16. Thanks Eagle. That pretty much sums it up. That's why I love Comanche Club! I think most members would agree.
  17. Wow! I like them....!!
  18. If it's yours, why not make a nice for sale ad in the classifieds with lots of pictures!
  19. Awesome! Two doors are cool. 2.5/ax5 jeeps are cool too. Don't see those everyday.
  20. I haven't looked I to this yet due to working every day for the last week.... Heater hose? Black of course.
  21. Hello again.... This IS the best research for anything MJ. Those Facebook groups are a joke.. Good English and spelling are a dying art form on forums. It makes it hard to understand what you are trying to say. Please retread before you hit the post button and it'll be fine. You are taking on a big project swapping a 4.0 into a 86.. But many folks here have done it and if you want to know it, shut up and read. You could always to to Pirate4x4 and ask the same questions. They are really friendly over there.
  22. I wouldn't of thought the one I sold would have fit in the back of my JK or XJ...
  23. Probably should have stated but I have a black mini console. There will be no modifications to the console itself.... Weatherstripping idea may work.. It's about 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch gap.
