Thanks to everyone who has responded to the questions. Apparently i misunderstood what this section "mj tech" was for. The thread is very helpful but wouldnt have found it. I'm not a mechanic, and want to save money on trying to do it myself. And be able to take pride in doing it. I will be getting help on the Facebook comanche group from now on. I picked up a aw4 and 231 out of 93 cherokee

I do have the 87 complete wire harness and computer.

Does anyone have pics of the radiator mod? And what model radiator show i but?

HELP!!! I have an 86 l/b, putting in 4.0 out of 87. Will a aw4 w/ np231 work? and what drive shaft will need? And to confirm will i need to mod the firewall? I think i might have got in over my head. Any help would b awesome thanks

Thats what i have 3 speed auto, original trans.

I have and a904 trans and was told the 4.0 would bolt up to it. My front is a d30 and rear a d35 with 4.10. i currently have a 4" lift with 31" tires

I have a 86 with a 2.5 and want to put a inline 6 in it. Made the purchace of the 6, it came with harness and computer. Any tips and help with this would be much appreciated. I believe it has a a904.
