  1. Comanche county : thanks!! Yes Don it is . I've been trying to get some projects done while I'm off, because when I go back to work I probably won't be able to . Thanks !!
  2. The seals are new and need compressed . Make sure that all of the interior trim is not in the way of the new seals and try to get the seals to fit tighter in the areas you have pictured . It also helps to roll the windows down before you attempt to close the doors .
  3. That is just questions and answers... What I was thinking is everyone would have a login and it would know where you were. So if someone posted an issue like "Brake issue on my 89 Comanche, soft pedal, need help replacing master cylinder, but I've never done it before". Then other home mechanics in the area would see they were only 10 minutes away from that person and say that they would help. They could go to the persons house to help them out one night or weekend, or tell the person to bring their truck over to their house and they would help. They could offer to help for free, parts, or have them send over $50 from PayPal... I misread , my mistake . In that case never heard of such a site . Although I'd be worried about someone not qualified or some hack working on my vehicle . It's a good idea though

  5. Watching it now ... I know they don't have a choice to keep those old vehicles running but it's good to see they use them until there's nothing left .
  6. You can get some decent single stage paint for about $200 for a gallon (it will be less if you don't need that much ) and it will hold up better then spray cans . That being said I've seen some good rattle can jobs , it's all in the preparation .
  7. You are protected with paypal on eBay , if it were me I'd rather have the mopar CPS that is proven for reliability and almost half the price of the PC 307 . I'll sell you my mopar one for $60 shipped and buy the two on eBay if you're worried that much about eBay . Pm me if interested .
  8. Xj hitches are different than mj hitches , you need an mj hitch
  9. 53005421 is the part number at the dealer if there are any left . Here's one on eBay http://m.ebay.com/itm/JEEP-OEM-53005421-Vehicle-Speed-Sensor-Transmission-Speed-Sensor-/271721382236?nav=SEARCH
  10. The NV 3550 was used only in the 2000 and 2001 Cherokee. The nv3550 was also used in the 00-04 wrangler and some smaller dodge pickups .
  11. You don't charge A/c from the high side , that is only to meter the pressure . My advice is to put the high side port back to the way it was with the r12 , charge with the correct amount of 134a freon and call it a day .
  12. No , it still has a black portion . It needs to be all chrome to meet your standards .

  15. I believe The Dana 44 plates are different then the Dana 35 plates . The plate bolt patterns are 80mm and 85mm , guessing the 85mm is the Dana 44 and the 80 mm for the Dana 35 . http://comancheclub.com/topic/44203-is-this-part-necessary-pic-attached/?fromsearch=1
  16. Haha , That's not right !!
  17. That binding sounds like the timing is off to me . I understand you checked and replaced timing chain etc .Have a friend turn the distributor slightly each way while you're trying to start it to see if you can get it to run .
  18. It's team cherokee , you may never get them . Buyer beware
  19. I agree John , I don't understand $700 of wiring either . I always like when someone says " you won't find a nicer truck then this for the money " like he knows what everyone else has in the state / country . I just post this up in case someone might want to go look at it .
  20. Youre fine , I have an 01 WJ and don't like them either . I'll stick with the XJ/ MJ .
  21. Wjs never had a V6 it was an I6 or the 4.7 v8 . Grand Cherokees (Wk's) started using the V6 in 2005 . To the OP : many people call an inline straight six a V6 , just make sure what it actually is .
  22. This^^ is a drawtite . Here's the link to order a hitch from krustyballer . http://comancheclub.com/topic/47686-hitch-plates/?view=getnewpost
  23. Nice truck , where in Ohio are you ? I'm in Youngstown .
  24. You're welcome . That seal is much better because the three 'tabs' keep the seal centered and is a bit thicker then the stock seal also .
  25. Congratulations Bo !! Is the Mj the honeymoon vehicle ?
