  1. Good question , maybe dasbulliwagen could answer .
  2. Positive . Just recieved it in the mail Saturday and it only lists 99-04 grand Cherokees and I've never owned anything else covered under any recall .
  3. Not really . The purpose of the letter is to install a hitch on certain Wjs especially with aftermarket hitches because iirc the aftermarket hitches may puncture the gas tank in a rear end collision because of how low they sit vs the mopar hitch that is the same height as the bumper . The replacement parts won't be available till September 15th at the earliest . I think if the law firm was collecting info the dealer wouldn't be installing hitches .
  4. I'll take $100 all day long , along with a brand new hitch too lol. It's only fair that you should get $100 also . The Liberty's had the same recall right?
  5. Here's felpro gasket numbers and years of applications ..
  6. Here's what I got in the mail ...
  7. A lot of respect and admiration . http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/21/europe/france-train-shooting/#
  8. Pm sent

  10. No idea , besides Hornbrod . Although I'm not sure it has enough chrome ...

  12. Let me look , I MAY have one .
  13. I think strokermj is talking about the piece of angle on my hitch that connects the cross tube to the receiver tube. If it was like a piece of 2.5" channel instead of angle it would touch the bottom of the Fey bumper so you could bolt it up. Nothing to do with the mounting brackets that you had to cut the leg off of. ^^ that's what I was referring to , not the bumper brackets . I just figured in your case that it would give the bumper a bit more strength . It was just an idea , again it looks really good .
  14. Make sure the pressure gauge is not faulty by trying another one if you rented one from a parts store or clean the ground behind the left tail light .
  15. Got a little time to work on the truck today . Finally found an ax15 crossmember, mount and exhaust hanger bracket , the crossmember was a little rusty but solid . Ended up getting it painted along with the t case skid . Then I put the radiator , hoses , a/c compressor and hoses , plugs , and wires on . Somehow I misplaced the power steering reservoir and I still need new injectors, a knock sensor , new fuel hoses and new battery cables before I can try and start it . Ended up also test fitting some body panels too . Half of the battery cables are missing so I'm not sure what length they originally were , so I guess I'm going to run them the way I want . I picked up some 2 gauge battery cable , copper lugs , marine heat shrink and battery ends , going to put them on tomorow and see what happens .
  16. Now, I need to install a 4- or 5-pin wiring harness. I think if you had another piece of L channel flipped upside down the fey bumper would mount perfectly to the two holes .Looks really nice !! I wish the hitches were around when I needed them a year ago .
  17. I seen that listed on eBay , and it sold .
  18. The harness is used off of a 90 Xj . Before I put it on the truck I cleaned every single connection with a small brass brush so everything was nice and shiny including all the grounding areas . It makes it so much easier to do out of the vehicle and I'm not good with diagnosing electrical issues so hopefully this helps . Thanks for the compliment . As far as new parts go iirc motor mounts , washer reservoir and pump ,valve cover , water pump , starter , wires , radiator hoses , plugs , water temp sender and sensor , oil pan ,melling oil pump , k+n air filter , mopar oil filter , both vacuum harnesses , clutch slave and master assembly , wiper motor , oil sender , fan switch , serpentine belt , power steering hoses , speedo cable and some heater hoses , maybe more but that's off the top of my head .
  19. Lol , no . The one on the left is to prime the oil , the distributor drive gear is removed . The cap with the hole in it is for indexing the distributor and the dizzy on the right is the one actually for the truck .
  20. Thanks Buck , I know how everyone loves pictures lol. That's one of the reasons I've never made a build thread until I learned how to post pictures . I'm trying to remember to take pictures too , it's hard when I'm in the midst of working on it .
