Can Spell Comanche

Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. So I got a picture of the car I might own shortly. I just looked quickly, but these doors won't fit my Comanche, right? https://scontent.fsvg1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t34.0-12/19970597_1461135360631947_170674142_n.jpg?oh=eb449c70b3aee133175c0315d983a953&oe=596686C5
  2. Hadde ikke falt meg inn å lete etter nordmenn her inne! Sender deg en PM :D
  3. Awesome, thanks! Will salvage from the XJ i have on hand just to get it approved for the road, and at the same time order a new one. Thanks again, really appreciate the help you guys provide! Edit: Sure thats the right PN? The manufacturer doesn't list Comanche as a match.
  4. Thanks for feedback! You guys are always helpful. I've circled the "joint" or whatever it is that I need in the picture linked below https://goo.gl/photos/4aH1jipmZUngTWP5A The VIN might be different here, insane rules on vehicles. But I will look for it, I might have covered it in paint by mistake. Thanks!
  5. Got it back from the shop today, a few small things to get it approved. Most of the faults are small and easy to fix, but there are two things that I need some help with: 1. The joint (don't know if it's correct in English?) on the left pitman arm needs to be replaced. Can this be salvaged from a Cherokee or do I need to order one? And if so, which one? 2. They couldn't find the vehicle identification number under the car. Where is this located usually? I have my doubts they'll find it, I was probably stupid when trusting a Hells Angels member and bought his car...
  6. Wheels fitted, everything looks good - time to get it to a shop so it can be declared road legal! A friend of mine found me a Cherokee in great body conditions. Some defects internally, but I don't need that. Question for you guys is: will lights, grills, front bumper, front fenders etc. fit my Comanche?
  7. So a friend of mine who is a mechanic disassembled the wheels to get to the studs. In order to make it fit with my wheels, and get the right lug nuts (?) for it, It needs to be M12x1.2 with a knurl size of 15.8mm, or 0.618/0.622 in. I've searched the web for two hours now... Seems like the M12x1.5 studs stop at a knurl size of 14.3mm. Does any of you know of a magical catalouge I could look in to find the right size?
  8. Its one of theese, don't know what to call it in english so found a random pic on google
  9. Haven't been on here in a while. Bought a house and a lot of projects have been postponing my work on the truck. I've now dug it out from the snow, put rustcoating on the frame and reassembled it as well as changing the wheels. I do have one issue though: when changing the wheels I had to cut off a bolt (the part attached to the wheel hub, rear ps). I can't figure out which bolt I ha e to get to replace it, which needs to be done to get it road legal. Help would be appreciated!
  10. The lights wouldn't be too hard, I guess. FedEx should have cheap shipping to Norway.
  11. Yeah it wouldn't be cheap thats for sure. I imagine it being in the 3-400 usd range. I am not too familiar with shipping systems in the US, so I was hoping someone with knowlege of it had done similar things before. But I'll definately check out alternatives.
  12. Late reply here lol, havent done much with the truck. I'm looking for a new tailgate, taillights, and rear bumper!
  13. Hello! Its really hard to find parts for the Comanche here in europe, and even harder in the northernmost parts of europe. I can find Cherokee parts real easy, but searching for Comancheparts here has been a real struggle. Been trying for almost a year now, but it seems I have to open the wallet and actually find parts in the US and get it shipped to Norway. I wonder if there's any of you that has parts, and would be willing to ship it here? I'd pay for the shipping ofcourse. As the title says, I'm interested in Comanche spesific parts. A new tailgate, taillights, and rear bumper is the highest priority for me. Any help is good!
