  1. You don't have to remove the bed to install the hitch . Yes it mounts the the side of the frame . When I was building this ^^ truck it was easier to install because I didn't have to lay on my back .
  2. +1 the hitch is a better towing point then the bumper is especially when the hitch is used in conjunction with the bumper. . The two holes on the hitch line up with the two holes on the factory bumper tying them both together .
  3. Don't hold your breath as most times when you check they no longer have them . This search shows a couple places that's supposedly still has them . http://www.rearcounter.com/33002870-parts995145.html
  4. http://comancheclub.com/topic/44750-charcoal-canister-qs/?fromsearch=1 I should have a couple extra used rebuildable. 33002870 ones in my parts pile if yours is trashed .
  5. I didn't pm the guy but it looks like it's either 157 or 167 k but the pic is blurry . http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=171807691014&category=33678&pm=1&ds=0&t=1437274434352
  6. Wells Tu108 or Standard TS199 or BWD WT761 for the water temp gauge . I can't remember the oil pressure right now but will give you the number when I get home . Edit: Standard PS315 for the oil with gauge
  7. I forgot to mention , see if there are numbers on the old bearing . If there is you can cross reference to see what bearing you have if the number I gave you is wrong . If you can't get down close enough to read it go to your local parts store and get a new alternator and look at the bearing number .
  8. Iirc it's a 203ff bearing . That's a BCA number , but I could be wrong .
  9. I know the previous owner , looking forward to see what you do to it . Btw if you're looking for any garnet interior parts I have some extra pieces / parts .
  10. I had a couple that had the same exact hanger . It was held on with a 18mm bell housing bolt and looked original to me .
  11. I don't have a picture of what you need , but can take one when I get home in a couple days . One sensor is a knock sensor which is the one that has an injector connector , the other is the Coolant temp sensor . The harness runs down behind the power steering pump in my second picture , goes straight down and runs through a cable clamp and to both sensors . Hope that helps , if not someone else should have what you need .

  13. This Full Traction Skid plate / crossmember #720646 fits both the mj / xj both auto and manual , the ba10 needs an adapter . Just an option if the JCR doesn't fit .
  14. Comparison of the size of the 97 mirrors vs 96 and older folding mirrors : View of the 96 and older mirrors : View of the 97 and newer mirrors : I put electrical tape where the vent window post would be .
  15. Dextron 3 or equivalent , ATF + 4 came later . I'm pretty sure any of the ATF's work fine. some people run 10w30 motor oil. I put ATF4 in mine. I guess it's a preference then . I've always used dextron with no issues and some of my tcases have many miles .
  16. Dextron 3 or equivalent , ATF + 4 came later .
  17. The only thing I have to add is there is also the non-folding mirrors that look like the middle mirror in Fiatslugs picture
  18. Thank you for the info , the harness I'm changing is in the engine compartment not the cab . It's good to know I can reuse the cab harness if I do locate the non c101 harness .
  19. Don't go out of your way , but I appreciate the offer !! I may just try to locate a harness from a jy or post a wanted ad on here . I was thinking that someone had already tried or done this . I'm going to search for an 89 mj / xj 5spd 4.0 harness because it won't have the c101 and should work being the ECU s are interchangeable from 87-90 like you pointed out .
  20. Good to see they are going to get used , and your welcome . Never seen that style of brush guard , factory ?
  21. I wonder how much hood clearance (if any) there is with that carburetor , and don't forget about the air filter ..
  22. http://comancheclub.com/topic/47573-1992-comanche-pioneer-near-houston-texas-77586/?view=getnewpost May not be exactly what you want ,but it's in Texas
