Sending unit blockoff plate

I'm in ohio , starting Monday no school for 3weeks , no big gatherings either , so many events being cancelled . The local hospital is going as far as to pay for family of nurses /doctors/staff in contact with virus victims to stay home so not to spread in case of being infected.

Got the patches roughed in .Need to weld them in ,Por15 ,seam seal and paint to match . Then it's time for the interior.

Life has gotten in the way and it's time to get this done because I need the room . Acquired some floor panels for patches along with new front pans .

Flip the bracket upside down or just use an aftermarket bracket .

Best bet is to get ones in good shape or chrome ones and paint them . It's very tedious to try to remove the coating as you've found out.

The bolt mounting pattern is different from an 87 2.5 to a 87 4.0 . On The 2.5 the mounting bolts are directly across from each other, and on the 4.0 with one bolt at 12 o'clock the other should be roughly at 7 or 5 o'clock . Just changed one on my 87 with no a/c , no one had the correct pulley on theirs so I had to swap the pulley over .

I can think of a couple people that should have me beat , I won't out them in case they want to remain anonymous.

I did get some from an old dealership I picked , others were from years of searching.

Thanks for stealing my pic lol . Fronts are all the same between MJXJ besides the white or black logo . The Comanche rears are in the bottom row of my picture. I don't think I have any pictures of Cherokee rears on me .

The technical name is a grille extension , you can buy new aftermarket chrome ones and paint it or someone on here might have one .

He lived about 40 minutes from my house , I never met him in person. I bought some parts from a Comanche he parted out , last I heard he moved to another house in possibly another state . I may still have an envelope with his name on it to try and track him down , I would suggest sending him a pm first .

Ive seen new ones pop up for around $90 before, don't see any currently available.i think I have some good used ones in the basement that are in good shape.
