  1. Got it on eBay. Thanks for the quick reply, man!
  2. Grille extension! Thank you! Rock auto?
  3. I had my whole front end apart for months, and when I finally put it back together, I can’t find this one piece for the life of me. It’s like the end piece of the header panel. Anybody have one?
  4. Looking for a set of stock height leaf springs. Would prefer metric ton, but they don’t have to be. I’m willing to drive some, but the closer to north eastern Maryland/Delaware the better.
  5. Just got the new battery... They replaced it for free under the 3 year warranty. I didn't have my receipt, but they were able to look it up. I bought it in April of 2013... That's what I call winning!
  6. Great suggestions... Thanks! I'll let you know how it goes after I get it going. I was going to work on it yesterday, but I think the battery is shot. I put it on a trickle charger 5 days ago, and it never went from "charge" to "store". Deka has a 72 month warranty, so I'm going to get it replaced today.
  7. Hey guys! I've got an '88 pioneer that has been sitting for quite a while. It ran when I parked it about 3 years ago... 2 months later, my wife gave birth to our first kid, and the Jeep got pushed to the back burner. The time has finally come to get the old girl(Jeep, not wife) up and running again. I've put fresh oil and filter in it, filled the coolant, replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor, put a whole bottle of sea foam in the tank, and topped it off with fresh gas. Just wondering if any of you have recommendations of other precautions I should take before turning that key for the first time. An older gentleman I know suggested spraying WD-40 in each cylinder, and turning the crank shaft with a wrench a few times to help the rings get lubricated and seal. Any and all tips or tricks will be very much appreciated!
  8. The last piece I need for my 2WD to 4WD swap, is the front axle. I am probably going to end up with an HP 30, but if I could find a 44 cheap enough, that would be great. 3.73 gears to match the Ford 8.8 I already have would be preferred, but I can change out ring and pinion if needed. I'm in Fair Hill, MD and can pick up or meet within an hour or so.
  9. This thing could use a paint job, but looks really clean. He claims no rust... Too bad my driveway is full, and wallet is empty... http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/4606989605.html
  10. He updated the Craig's list ad... It now says, "no axles" but he shows axles in the pictures? If it includes the axles, it would be worth a grand, but it looks like a headache... http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3895234492.html
  11. Sounds like its disassembled, but probably worth well over $1500 in parts... http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3895234492.html

A little more from the same guy... Apparently it is not legal, but if it weren't acceptable to do, I'm sure Adams Jeep wouldn't be plastering their name on it... I say we get an MJ trail ride together...

Have any of you guys ever been to Trails Road in Delta, PA? It's right over the MD line not far from Harford and Cecil county. I've been wanting to check it out, but not 100% sure where it is. I don't know if it's legal or not, but if it's not legal, it definitely isn't enforced. I know people go all the time and never have issues. I am definitely not a fan of JK's, especially when they put big fancy rims on them, but here is a clip from Trails Rd.

I'm not sure if anything I have will be worthy of the PA Jeep show this year, but I am going to try to get there anyway, even if I end up driving the VW. I'm thinking the XJ will be pretty close to "done" by then, but I highly doubt either one of the MJ's will be ready. I have a lot of work to do, and not a lot of time to do it...
