  1. Wasn't there an issue if you ran a 242 behind a standard transmission? I have an NV 3550 in my 88 with the AX 15 crossmember and no issues. I also have the TJ shifter but I kind of like it sitting up that high .
  2. .I just need A piece of plexiglass so the emblems don't fall out
  3. On the box it would say AMC or Mopar being the brand name .
  4. I don't know if I consider that new old stock being that it's an aftermarket hood.I bought some aftermarket hood's before that don't fit right and also don't have that same quality that the originals do
  5. The 21 , the 10 and the 8 in that order .
  6. What is it ?
  7. Besides the eliminator I don't know of any model having any gray decals on the very bottom, I'd have to guess painted . The parts catalog should list a decal if there was one down there.
  8. I'm not saying buy them off of team Cherokee, but here's what they look like. https://teamcherokee.com/grille-fastener-screw-nut-16-piece-set-cherokee-comanche-1987-1996/
  9. Me too
  10. Getting anything?
  11. I'd be open to that , but I fear it will end up like the repoping of MJ tail lights . I've seen progress but none for sale .
  12. Thanks , going on my red truck once painted.
  13. Going on the red truck along with the racerback once it gets painted , but that's not in the near future unfortunately.
  14. Got the side pieces now
  15. Keeping the XJ dome light too ?
  16. I failed to mention that I used the tailgate handle and just got longer bolts that way you wouldn't pull the bolts through the holes, if you got any questions just let me know.
  17. I don't have any pictures but I took out the screws for the tailgate handle and made a bracket that I could attach a couple ratchet straps to, then I hooked them to the factory bed tiedowns and pulled it forward until it was straight.
  18. So when they installed the window they used beutyl tape and held the window in with screws(it was a mess ) , probably the reason it was leaking and rotted out the floors . So after pulling the window I cleaned all the old crap out and got lucky as there was no rust . I used a rear window from my very first Comanche, the seal was ruined on this truck from the aftermarket slider so I had to use a spare seal I had . Its supposed to rain the next next few days , so if I have no leaks I will be able to install the interior.
  19. They had just enough parts to make one more in 2009 .
  20. Found the source of the water leak, time for a new back glass ( The correct one) . Surprisingly there's no rust there, I don't think they used urethane for the window.
  21. My guess is that the collar broke on the long bolt for the tensioner
