Guy sounds a bit bias....they rate 14 & 15...the points he makes about the 44 axle size he missess in the 8.8 description...the 8.8 has a larger ring gear and is about 20% thicker in the pinion and axle shafts as well bigger tubes....But I must admit...I still have an ad out searching for a 44.. :dunno:

Easy test without pulling off the pump....take off the T stat housing and pull the stat...put the housing back on with no stat....remove the Other end of the heater hose we can see in your picture above and stick it in an empty milk jug...have a helper turn the motor over...if the water pump is spinning the right way it will pump water into the jug.... If you try this be careful :dunno:

Just a question....your sure it is the right pump? there are pumps that turn the other way... :dunno:

You can keep the rear leafs off of all of them and make a couple of bucks selling them to the XJ guys to make Bastard packs with

The t-case will be a 231 or a 242...that would be worth something...and I don't know if you would want it for your MJ but my wife has the same KJ and the buckets are big and comfortable

All kidding aside....as said above....look at the top of your coil...it sits in what is call a spring isolator ( google an image if you like) you can get an easy lift or level a front from side to side by just adding another isolator or 2 as needed..each adds about 5/8"

Start taking your dates to the Dairy Whip 4 times a week, you just have a black coffee and give her the Sunday supreme...in 2-3 weeks it will level out :dunno:

Take the stat out and test run it...if it runs cooler it is the t-stat......if it maintains the water level but still bubbles up in the over flow.....it is your water pump....if it is losing water without any noticeable drips or damp spots...it is your head gasket . :MJ 1: .

It is not injectors it is injector (1) I would probably be proven wrong but i have never heard of an upgraded one.....maybe one out of a gm V6 or V8 would snap in and give you more flow... :dunno: Rads....any Cherokee rad....you can also use YJ and TJ 2.5 rads....nothing will be plug and play...there will be some "adapting" required....My 87 2.5 ran for a couple of years with a TJ rad...now it has a NOS 2000 XJ rad

If you are not locked into using stock OE parts..... and have a couple of minutes to do some modding......basically any MJ , XJ, TJ, YJ (and maybe a couple more) can be "tweaked" to fit your truck. If you like the Idea of giving your motor access to more air....here is a cheap and easy mod I do to all my air boxes.... Lets in more air and gives it a "throatier" growl when you step on the gas.

Get the specs of the intake off of the manufactures website...it will have a height measurement....compare that with what you have.... :dunno: :dunno:

Yes....sad but true....but seriously what wisdom can you pass alone as far as the choices you made with the head on your 4.6

Either go back to spring under or lift the front....coil spacers are an easy quick fix
