  1. if you wanna do it and you have time, take the top off the master and open all 4 bleeders or even just one or two at a time. it will gravity bleed or you can go to the parts store and buy the magical bleeder screws that replace the ones in your caliper and only allow fluid out not in then tighten and drive
  2. if you're still having problems with it taking coolant down the blocks on these get airlocked bad and you won't be able to fill it, try taking off the heater hose from the thermostat housing and filling it through there. also if you install a thermostat drill a small hole in the metal and point it at 12:00 to let air through filling it through the therm-housing is the best way i have found yet
  3. we've placed probably 10 orders and out of that 9 times it was next day or the day after depending on what time you ordered (they are in AL and i'm in GA though) the other time was a big order with lockers and gear kits and winches and it took about a week and a half
  4. i know all about that red clay. GA red clay. itll stick ya!
  5. my favorite of my truck. i did the black/white background thing in mspaint so it's not perfect but i like it.
  6. ...? the aluminum cover definitely takes a gasket as well.
  7. i feel for ya guys, my mom is the biggest b*@$£ ever to my stepdad, especially about being on the computer. and yet we'll all still be foolish enough to get married at some point against everyone's best advice.
  8. thats what i was about to preach haha, i'd be alot more concerned with getting both rigs rolling and not being able to stop it than i would popping a coolant hose or something the AW4 will have no problem with towing it, 4.0L with 120 should be more than happy to do it... but is your arse?!

    spendy week

sounds like you need to talk to your tire salesman... thats ridiculous! those are some big trucks though, sounds like fun
  10. brake pads can be resurfaced, just take them and pad-down on the concrete rough them up til the wear patterns are gone and viola! like new half gone pads 8)
  11. i think all 4.0s need a radiator, thats just part of life as a 4.0L
  12. don't EF with brakes. i don't wanna be a fool or anything about it but if you can't afford or can't put brakes on your vehicle then you don't need to drive it. thats ridiculous, and it puts other people at risk of being disabled glad noone was hurt.
  13. haha, i was just thinking along those lines. :brows: sucks though man least you've still got something to drive
  14. i ordered the same brackets and got mine in like a week man, that sucks, sorry you had problems with it. theyre in the box still though, i'm slowly gathering parts
  15. its a good thing everyone knows we're talking about jeeps here. this almost became NSFW  :chillin: looking nice man
  16. another good point about getting everything at one shop or getting advice at a shop is they can tune your radio or help you out with issues.
  17. I'm running a cobra 29 peaked out to somewhere in the 25 range i think, wiht a 102" whip mounted where you're talking about. if i was you i'd mount it on the passenger side, it sucks in drivethru's (i go through the same one every morning, it gets old) but i get out fairly well, i think 18ft of cable with a beehive mount and a homemade stiffener coming off the tailgate latch so it doesn't flop around as much as it would.
  18. the last tanks have been consistent 19.8~ with NO highway driving, with mixed highway and city i got 20.5~ this is a stock 235/75r15 89 4.0 5spd 4x4 6 months ago i was getting 15mpg consistently then i slowed down and started shifting at 2000rpm, that upped it to 17, then i fixed the o2 sensor and i'm at my current 19+change
  19. i don't have the spacer but i do have the tube/6x9 k&n filter, and i know it sounds cool as $#!7 if nothing else. :brows: growls like a beast from under the hood when you get on it. as for mpg and power, i have no idea, i did the swap like a month after i bought the jeep cause my brother needed a stock airbox to put in a snorkel so i got it free
  20. i got injectors from 5-0 motorsports, don't remember the price but it was a good chunk of change. you won't feel anything seat of the pants so don't expect it mine were puking fuel out 2/6 at the same time so i just did all 6
  21. youporn was 33rd in the WORLD hahaha.
  22. if you're having trouble and you HAVE to park on a hill here's what you do in case of no parkin chocks pull up close to the curb and then cut the wheel so that the tires are turning into the curb all the way in the direction the truck will roll, then let it settle onto the curb and still park it in gear with the slightly effective Ebrake on. that way your truck has to run over a curb (not gonna happen) in order to roll down the hill, and if it DOES roll over the curb it'll end up sideways in the road and hit something else before it goes barreling down the hill and actually NAILS something.
  23. why didn't he buy a 960 volvo wagon... same $#!&. even an inline 6 rwd. lol
  24. i'll let my brother know, we might be able to make it
  25. the rocker arms don't really matter but the spec on them is about 20ft/lbs IIRC, i didn't have any problem getting the rockers and rods to line up but i also layed them out in order how they came out origionally, did you take note of which one was which? it shouldn't really matter but it may
