I also lost one probably 8 years ago now. It just spun on the rubber. I was 30 miles up in the snow and no power steering was how I first noticed. Had to get a buddy to deliver one and change it in the snow.
well here is the plann i came up with today
first i don't need a dd wheeler and she dosent want a wheler she has a brand new CHEVY HHR wich she love scord hig in crash tests bla bla
i don't want payments on my wheelr
i need a 4 seat wheeler
so here is what she i and the guys at work csme up with
1998 durango
sas d60 front
60 rear
208-231 doubler
37 irocks off the toyota
sell all but the toy becous i have had it for ever
dd the toy
her dad just gave me a 91 surburban tow rig i use it more than he dose
with the stipulation that i sell all of my rigs. use the mone from the rigs to build the durango.
thought of that
got shut down
here is my list of rigs
1989 toyota x-cab built 5.29 duals 37 irocks main rig
90 comanche beater wheeler
88 xj freebie not road safe
1986 single cab f350
1981 f250 single cab on 35s
1974 f150 on 36s
1986 j10 on 35s
1988 toyota x-cab on 33s
1998 durango wrecked rebuilder
1985 ford ranger on 32s
her question is am i willing to have just 2 rigs wheeler and tow rig daily driver. Also it need to hold all of us while on the trail and getting there comfortably, She has a brand new HHR wich is good but we all need to be able to go camping and wheeling.
I don't think her request of me making the list a lot smaller is to much. She has supported every choice i have made including my spending 13k on just my toyota last year.
so on the day befor my 27th birthday i find out I'm going to be a dad.
