I'll get right on that #II :chillin: I have heard if you put some pantie hose on the vent outlet (say you vent goes into a garage or room) it catches every bit of lint.... hey hey hey, this is a family oriented forum, noone said anything about hoes in the garage!

Project LONG ARMED Manche, Now bed chopped
Oizarod115 replied to DrThunder's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
we've had many lines blow running a similar setup but with about 2 feet of copper hard pipe before the hose...blew the hose after a while, then repaired and blew out like 5 minutes later. i suggest running higher temp lines, whether they be braided or pipe until you get out from under the hood to let things cool down some. cool setup though, i like the quick disconnects there. -
hahaha, wife and kids in tow, BANG. i wouldn't mess around with family involved. just myself i'd warn, then shoot the knee.

if you were truly drunk rednecks you would've used it as the base of the nights bonfire... sorry, you lose. ;) better luck next time, it does make sense though cause you couldn't really scrap it then.

Oizarod115 replied to james750's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
both my indicators came on exactly like you described, blinkers worked but no parking lights, and dimly lit indicators all the time. fixed the problem with new sockets from the HELP! section at the auto parts store. wish i had seen this thread earlier, but at least all your bulbs are new now :brows: -

Gas tank moved to bed of truck?
Oizarod115 replied to Mitch's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
this is easy, did it to my brother's old cherokee so the new tank wouldn't get beat on the rocks. just figure out a way (other than bungie cords) to hold it down, and the filler neck will just stick out, oryou could figure out a way to make a cool one. some wires and fuel line and you're good to go we used long gr.8 bolts through the floor with large fender washers on them and bolts the stock straps to the floor in the cherokee. -

For the record.......that don't work. Tried that last week when my pump died, and only got a faceful of mud/rust for my troubles  :D Jeff (although it did releive some of the stress of admitting to myself that the pump actually was dead) it works about 50/50 we get alot of dead pumps, some of them you can kick and drive in the shop, some of them you've gotta push :redX: it's alot more fun to drive the car that just got a 80 dollar wrecker bill in ;) than it is to push em
-
i had a guy offer me 500 at a gas pump once... i gave him the cheezits ad... helll no! GET YOUR OWN!

the one thing they did do that would be worthwhile is upgrading wheel bearings. the stock d30 ones won't last long on 35 inch tires with any wheeling in th emix
-
this is why you organize your toolbox and keep stuff put up, you can't make money if you can't find your tools. hard to beat time on things when you're diggin around, staying neat and organized is the only way to do it.

89 4.0 Stumbling on accel.
Oizarod115 replied to Kenosha Warrior's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
my truck was acting up between shifts and it turned out some dumbarse... (coughMEcough) had put the TPS in improperly. check the TPS to make sure its working, it would only do it between shifts and it felt like backfiring.
