or you can ignore all of that and just find a dana 30 and an explorer 8.8 or XJ 8.25 with 4.10 gears already in them and run it that way. :thumbsup:

ZJ years. and the 96-01 explorers can indeed be found with 4.10 gears in them. make sure it comes with the calipers still on it. they carry a steep core value. car-part.com can help you find one.

wheel bolt pattern is 5 on 4.75, so that's one strike against it.

before you get too carried away with the 207, the 87+ np-231 is a stronger unit and has more aftermarket support. :thumbsup:

have you cleaned all the grounds? what are the condition of your main cables?

our trucks rot from the inside. washing the exterior really doesn't do much unfortunately. :( you have to clean the inside of the doors, rockers, frame, etc. to get the salt out. :fs1: try to spray up inside the bedsides to get that shelf above the rear wheelwells. :thumbsup:
