don't pull a leaf. our trucks have enough issues with spring-wrap as it is :(

wheel diameter doesn't matter as long as the tire diameter remains the same. :thumbsup:

our trucks rot from the inside. washing the exterior really doesn't do much unfortunately. :( you have to clean the inside of the doors, rockers, frame, etc. to get the salt out. :fs1: try to spray up inside the bedsides to get that shelf above the rear wheelwells. :thumbsup:

I wouldn't condone that kind of thing...But what I don't know... I'm not condoning it either, I'm just saying that it's super easy to cheat around that rule since craigslist ads are free and easy to manufacture, so why make that rule? :dunno:

the 4banger could be backed by either the ax4 or ax5 but in the case of the metric ton package, I do believe only the ax5 was offered (to accommodate the 4,10 gears.)

the metric ton package was available with the 4banger and/or 2wd. chances are REAL GOOD that your AMC-20 (regardless of the engine/trans combo) has 4.10s. only way to know for sure is to check. either spin the axle shafts or pull the cover and count teeth.

for that kind of money you should be able to get a decent XJ. :yes:

did you replace the rear axle when you converted? if not, you likely have 3.55 gears and are burning a bit more gas while the little engine is struggling to push the bigger tires around. and if you didn't install the proper speedo gear in the t-case, your speedometer/odometer is off and throwing off your calculations. :thumbsup:
