  1. I'm sorry for bumming you fellows out but I'm running on a timeline and a cash budget. I really really love this truck so I am going to keep it and do the plans mentioned. Of course unless someone offers something that's fair in value to myself. My planned modifications will not take away or strip any of the vehicles original looks, plus I will be sure to keep all the old parts in case I feel a need to restore back to its beginning form.
  2. Sorry about that. To continue.... I am seriously contemplating Keeping it as close to original as possible. I'm still going to make it a 4x4 with the 4.0 HO and AW4 transmission but retain factory height and and wheels. It's not for serious wheeling anyways. More for icey roads and such.
  3. Looking more and more at this vehicle I am really enjoying its looks, I am ser
  4. I had someone take a look. It says number 63
  5. I'll take care of it :-)
  6. Sure, I will as soon as I get home from work, that will be around wed..
  7. I started a post in the project forum to begin a documentation of the build for this interested
  8. It has a small brass plaque on the glove box
  9. Here are pictures of the comanche. It is in outstanding shape with almost immaculate interior.
  10. Couple pictures of stripping the interior and dash
  11. Hello everybody, thanks for everyone's response to my tech questions in the Mj tech forum. I decided to document my build here for those interested. Here is a picture of the donor cherokee. It's remarkably straight.
  12. Well Mr. Eagle, you just made my day. Thank you for answering my questions
  13. Ok , started stripping the cherokee, everything pretty doable this far. Started thinking on what I should do about the lift. Issue is that I really don't have the xtra cash to put a lift that I would like at this time so I was going to leave it at at stock height while I drive it as my dd. but if I don't do soa in the rear now it means I will have to pay again in the future for another cut and balanced drive shaft. Hmm, what to do. I have photos I would like to share of the progress but have not figured out how to load them via iphone. As soon as I can do so I will start a build thread in projects for those interested.
