as long as you can overcome the search function, there's a ton of info. :D just be patient and you'll find the right truck. :thumbsup: chances are that craigslist will be of more help.

the ballast resistor has been my go-to suggestion for years now. the theory of course being that if the truck starts but stalls, they might assume it was just a pos truck. might be enough to get the amateurs. I bought a radio with bluetooth/usb/aux, and rca outputs (no CD player) for about $20 on ebay. only issue has been I didn't pick one that also dims the radio lights. :doh:

another vote for there's nothing wrong with those rpms. :thumbsup: the 2.5 is not the 4.0 and torque is at a premium (hence the 4.10 gears). heck, 2.5/autos came with 4.56 gears. :yes:

I would start with an r-134a adapter kit. AC issues are hard to diagnose without the proper gauges and tools.

you couldn't pay me to cut away at solid rockers. I went with more traditional tubes tucked up to the body but punched through the frame and welded to both sides. nothing touches my rockers (which have since gone missing anyways since it's a michigan truck). just throwing it out there. :)

pretty sure all the bellhousing bolts are standard

I wanna say they are 3/8", but am not sure of the length. I suggest grade 8 studs rather than bolts. then you can use them as guide pins :thumbsup:

the libby is the closet thing I have to a DD and it of course has a matching spare. but I also carry a puncture repair kit and a co2 tank because; eagle scout. :D
