  1. woohoo!!
  2. did the 2 problems come on simultaneously?
  3. yeah, the wiring harnesses frequently have... issues.
  4. if the box is currently empty or close to it, that will most definitely help. if hte box is currently empty, you could even just open the lid and place wood into it.
  5. the sway problem comes from the balance of the load. it's too even. you need more weight in front of the trailer tires than behind. the box and spare tire do this job when empty, but the wood counteracted it.
  6. I can trim off a chunk tomorrow and get it in the mail monday. price is whatever you'd like to donate to the I'm-taking-my-niece-and-nephews-to-Disney-come-hell-or-high-water fund. I'm guessing shipping will be about $15. paypal id is: PeterMontie@hotmail.com message me an address.
  7. pretty much the only nice spot left on this bed
  8. tiny pic of a tiny eclipse with a tiny phone
  9. fancy! how's the ride?
  10. jack up the tire, put your hands at the top and bottom and shake hard (alternating in and out with your hands). does it move? now put your hands at the left and right and shake hard. does it move? if you push in and yank out on the tire with your hands in unison, does it move? then reach in and shake the axle shaft. does it move? try rotating it. how about now? if you rotate the tire does the axle shaft move exactly together with the tire?
  11. should be pretty easy actually. as I said, that upper corner rarely rusts out and so even a nasty bed should be able to donate a few inches. heck, I bet I've got a good corner on one of my bad beds.
  12. I was thinking of acquiring the top corner off another bed. shouldn't be hard as that spot rarely rusts out. but pulling the steel out is definitely an option. I'm sure there are vids on bondo application that can walk you through it. as with paint, prep is key.
  13. it's not a seal, just a trim piece. be prepared to find some surface rust under the urethane glue of the windshield. that must be dealt with before trying to glue in the new glass or it won't adhere for long.
  14. can you weld? got any access to a dent puller? can you apply bondo? what sort of skills are ya got?
  15. I'm not trying to sell anything, just trying to save you some headaches. unless your bed bolts are so rusty as to cause issues, then it's a tossup.
  16. full beds are a lot easier to swap than 2 individual bedsides.
  17. just 5 more posts and the classifieds will open up to you
  18. been a loooong time since I shipped an axle, but I used RL Carriers. they had liftgate service. now a days you can use Uship or other services that take your needs and give them to various shippers. we shipped the Camaro that way. they tack on a fee though, so it'll be cheaper if you can get as close as possible directly to the guy driving the truck.
  19. I certainly hope they can reproduce it, but it's a bit of a complicated decal from what I remember.
  20. 89 aw4 would be 21 spline.
