    Ruined my day!

it says Virginia, so you might be safe. just visiting.
  11. what time of day are you trying? meaning is 60* the high for the day and you're trying in the morning when the truck itself is still at 40*?
  12. can you jump the battery to start the truck? 6 years old is kinda up there in age for a car battery.

    4.10 axles

almost was. last week I was supposed to be heading to Savanna with a side trip up to the Yorktown, but the trip got canceled because my nephew got sick. a 10 hour drive day is not in the cards right now.

    4.10 axles

I've got no desire to mess with them, but might as well put up an ad since I don't need them. 4.10 axles. front is from an 86 MJ and has no brakes. rear is an 8.25 from a 96 XJ and does have brakes. $300 if you pick them up. local drop-off is available. Axles are located an hour east of Atlanta.
  16. listed 6 weeks ago. there's no way this is still for sale.
  17. duuuuude, that's not where the brakelines should be routed...
  18. also some of the LCD are tan and some are white.
  19. that was my exact thinking. but ask around enough and you'll find guys that swear the nubs cause wrinkles or bumps or something in the gasket.
  20. answered my own question. the wires are all over the place.
  21. wait, are all 87-90s pre-wired for the quartz? all my quartz are pinned different.
  22. I've heard both that the little metal pins need to go and that they can stay. I'm thinking it might have to do with different brands of rubber trim, but it could also be installer error or something else. so I cut them off just in case for the 88 I'm working on when we got the glass replaced. do not expect to reuse your current windshield. the old glass is INSANELY easy to ruin when you try to remove it. bonus points is that the rubber trim is free if you order new glass for a 97+ XJ. super bonus points is that you get brand new glass to see though! do plan on finding surface rust where the urethane needs to bond to the steel. very common and the glue won't adhere properly unless it's addressed. if it's too cold where you are for painting, I'd probably wait until spring to do this job.
