  1. I guess that may be a replacement set, meaning whatever dodge was using on the Ramcharger or something. That is definitely different than the original mirror. I guess it’ll bolt on just the same but it’s different.

  3. This was the winner of the best XJ award. And the third one I didn’t. I also forgot to take a picture of the MJ. It was a street type rig and it was very nice 👍. I did talk to the owner for a good while.
  4. I went to a “Jeep Fest” (show) today about an hour away in Lavonia GA and I got my first duck. It’s a hippo! So I guess I’m keeping it. Not going on the dash though! 😁. I didn’t even look at the voting sheet and didn’t know there was an “XJ” category. I didn’t win but I enjoyed talking to other Jeep people. There was only three XJ’s, it was a small show with only about 65 total jeeps. However there was one MJ and he won one of the overall categories!
  5. Sorry I saw the picture but I’m not tracking.. is this from transmission to carb?
  6. I don’t know if it helps but I had this saved from the parts catalog..
  7. I’m just brainstorming here, but I thought of something. If you rev it up and there’s no vibration in neutral… It almost has to be something spinning while you’re going down the highway. I don’t know if an automatic transmission can’t have a part to get out of balance and still operate. I’ve never heard of it. So that would leave tires and wheel driveshaft or maybe an axle?
  8. I wonder if it could be in your front suspension and just feels like it’s over the trans.. It sounds like you’ve done a good bit of work to eliminate possibilities. Vibes can be tough to find..good luck!
  9. Nope. 3 bolts on the S-10 700r4 and 4 bolts on the Chrysler 904 trans.
  10. I could have taken the FI parts, harness etc with the 3.4 engine along with all the serpentine accessory drive etc for the $250 price at picknpull. But I removed it all and left it. I hogged out my 2.8 intake primary hole and it runs strong with the Weber. It was about a day to get all the timing and carb adjusting where it needed to be. One day maybe I’ll get it dynoed…. I’m curious about the HP. I did use the Camaro exhaust manifolds and just plugged the O2 sensor holes. Other than that it’s all 2.8 crossed over parts.
  11. Great job, Thanks for the info! If you had done this a few years ago, I may not have stripped all the FI parts, brackets etc off the Camaro 3.4 and left in the yard 😁. I went with a carb mainly because I already had bought a new Weber…. Side note: I used a 700R4 and 241C. I did also have to modify a ‘99 XJ shifter and cut the hole in the firewall for the cable. Mine was a 2wd so I also snagged the ‘99 transfer case shifter and made my own linkage for it.
  12. I also did the 2wd to 4wd conversion (XJ). I bought a new one from rock auto, I’m pretty sure it is 94”. That is without cruise control. The 63” is shorter because it goes to the cruise control under the hood. You need the long one if it’s going all the way to the speedometer.
  13. I just watched Rudy’s latest video last night and I remembered that I had noticed he has no marker lights 😁. I didnt even know they were different from a standard front end.
  14. The grill looks to be damaged. I’m debating taking all of it, I doubt anyone here has found it. But I have a few other things that may eat up my time.
