everything under there is different. probably going to need some welding to make it work, and at that point I'd probably just get some tube and make my own.

literally just a single plastic gargoyle outside this year. I took the rest of my decor and spent an afternoon with my niece and nephews making their house the spookiest on the block. but no pumpkin carving. still a couple days to go though. we'll see.

did you bench bleed the new master?

nice! just make sure that the rearward facing light is sufficient. I had to trash a set of LEDs I had bought for my PT Cruiser that absolutely sucked at putting the light in the driver's eyes behind me. tried again with a more expensive brand and they looked much better. if they are good, there's a member who's selling special blink pots that accommodate the LEDs.

pics of what ya got? there are plenty of different reasons for a suspension to ride bad. heck, you might simply need better shocks. cheap shocks kinda suck. also, what's the pressure in your tires?

how do yours attach? does it match up with the MJ frame where it needs to?

the MJ is very capable in stock form and much nicer to drive on streets. personally I'd focus on armor and recovery points first. then a rear locker. (unless you have a dana 35, then I'd get a better axle and invest my cash into that.)

time to pull the rear window and re-glue it. :) be prepared to deal with some surface rust. read the urethane tube and follow the instructions exactly. I'd replace the hood seal too if you haven't yet. radio antenna grommet too. and hvac seal. and literally everything else that is made of rubber or foam and is supposed to keep the water outside.

better put some steel toe boots on your christmas list. I own a pair just for that very reason and I rarely ever use the chainsaw.

it's not BFG that's to blame, but the soft rubber, tall blocks, and intricate pattern can go sideways fast if the alignment is a hair off or driving style or location put extra abuse on the tires. for example, here in the foothills of GA every tire will be sensitive to outside edge wear simply because there's no such thing as a straight line in our roads. tires here are also prone to what I call "eraser wear" due to the amount of braking we do downhill. (so named because I use a pencil eraser to describe to people what is happening. but essentially the individual rubber blocks flex backwards under braking and wear a feathered pattern into the edge and needs to be cross-rotated to be put into the opposite rear spot on the truck to balance it out.)

I just last month used the Jegs kit. went on fine. though I found that the order in which you install them is very important if you only want to take it all apart once. while you're disassembling the door, take the opportunity to do other maintenance like vacuuming out the door and greasing all the moving window parts (including shooting some lithium grease up in the tube).

a classic truck with a classic tire. very nice. do make sure you rotate those BFGs religiously. maybe even more than you think.

my 4.0 has been doing that since I got it in 97. it's weird sounding, but normal.

maybe stop parking your cars via "feel".

if they truck has a retro theme, I feel like "out" would work. if not, I'd say "in" would be better. but I guess if the letters are in a weird place, than "in".

missed the XJ's 20 gal tank too. I got it. (although I always make it a 23 and never the 16) XLS denotes top of the line interior trim mostly. fancy door cards, cloth buckets, maybe the better radio. stuff like that. should have most every interior option. rolllbar, graphics, and bed rails were separate boxes to check when ordering.

buy. from. down. south. honestly for a comfortable highway DD, I want another ;late 90s era chrysler minivan. damn I miss that van. the seats were super comfortable and you sit up higher than a car for better visability. plus I could carry 4x8 sheets of plywood or a whole couch.
