  1. "hi, chrysler? yes, I'd like to place and order for some hidden winch kits, sport bars and a few other items."
  2. I'd wager it has some air suspension to pick itself up a bit. But I can't verify since I can't find more info. random pics are random.
  3. no one enjoys rust repair so it's completely understandable
  4. yeah, it's best to check what's going on before spending money. the fix could be as simple as a single long leaf thrown in. oh, and there are 3 different companies selling leafpacks so there are plenty of choices.
  5. There's no firm line in the sand with Epic Tech. Sure a v8 swap will go there, but its's also for the creative fab stuff.
  6. somewhere on the internet is the renix hp/torque chart, but all I keep finding is what I believe is the HO version.
  7. I'd fab a blockoff plate and just make the problem go away
  8. I assume that the islands have a visual emissions inspection?
  9. hence the DIY master thread in my sig. I felt no need to organize every thread in sub forums. too much work to create and too much work to click around and find things.

  12. I guess it doesn't have to be anything more than photos with arrows pointing to the common leak locations. although we could expand on it to include links to writeups on the individual fixes. anyone want to spearhead this? you don't have to necessarily do it all yourself, you can just be the guy that organizes it.
  13. 2.5s always need a bit more gear than 4.0s But I would also add in an AX-5 swap so you have overdrive.
  14. I took the entire wire harness and interior. I don't remember seeing any.
  15. glad the fix turned out to be cheap. how are classes going?
  16. when are you starting that build thread?
  17. those lengths are the starting point. an alignment might get it even closer to ideal
  18. engine rpm (and by extension gear ratio) is not the be-all, end-all to mpgs. the actual math is far more complicated and it could turn out that 4.10s might give better fuel economy than 3.73s. The rule of thumb is keeping the engine in the optimum spot of its torque curve.
  19. you got lucky, no doubt about that.
  20. I would add an adjustable aftermarket prop into the rear line. then I could tune it to be exactly right.
  21. someone send him a request for a build thread!
  22. 180* but I'd bet he has an adjustable suspension.
  23. you're not the first to mistake a 30 for a 44, probably not the last.
  24. take that list with a grain of salt. Chrysler reused codes over the years. I seriously doubt your truck had a nickle metal hydride battery or a hood lock.
