  3. you'll notice it's not a petty little coin. it's a medallion and kinda hefty. like a medal of honor.

  8. now there's something you don't see everyday...
  9. I get roughly 10" to the top of the wheelwell from the floor. I can't measure to where the factory bar would sit because I don't have one.
  10. factory rollbar or aftermarket? I assume you're just looking for bed floor to top of wheelwell?
  11. in a weird coincidence I've made near-as-makes-no-difference the same mistake. I used google to estimate the drive from Loganville to just south of Savanna to go pick up my MJ trailer and got a little under 3 hours. no problemo. then later that week on the day of the drive my GPS said close to 6. whoops! that's a lot of extra driving that day and I still needed to assemble the trailer suspension on site too.
  12. minor setback. I got the rear of the Jeep on the ground and found I didn't gain any lift over the old coils. I postponed the other frontend projects so I could get it on the ground and level. I did gain up front, but the rear is still saggy. I know I have weight in the Jeep (tools), but didn't expect a net gain of 0 from brand new coils. guess I need to send off an email and see what IDParts thinks. sigh. at least the rear is easy to add spacer lift.
  13. your floors are what seals out the heat. I would focus on getting some steel/rubber in there before getting too crazy with insulation. a TJ shifter boot is supposed to be a good fit for our trucks

pizza and eggs again today. it works out perfect. there are always 2 slices left after we make a pizza so the next day I can make my dish.
  15. you mean 4.5 hrs?
  16. even worse, I think the bracket is too long for the flat rate box. but they are worth it
  17. Loganville. hour east of Atlanta.
  18. the caster is adjustable via the sliding bolt bracket at the back of the lower control arms. add more shims to push it forward. though not every truck has enough space to give to accommodate a lift.
  19. that truck is gorgeous! when does car show season resume?
  20. let there be no doubt, if I had money, I would go look at it. but I'm poor, so I'll go out and say hi to my not-anywhere-near-as-nice MJs and be content.
  21. shocks and wheelwell liners are in. rain is close so I'm calling it a day.
  22. truly a glorious noise to a gear head
  23. that could be some super sweet retro goodness on a new wrangler
  24. do what ya gotta do for you. ownership was never a requirement for membership so don't be a stranger. the club still owes you tons of beers. just be sure you don't look at your Jeeps as some sort of failure or waste of time. you created something very beautiful in them and inspired countless other owners. and I've heard that the big cities of Japan are either hate it or loooooove it. no one I know has ever come back and said "meh".
  25. where are you? I gotta imagine that would normally be crushed with the truck at a junkyard so I gotta imagine you just need to find the nearest MJ in a yard and the roof will be yours.
