  1. good catch. now added in
  2. I edited out some of the more common reused codes for you. the full build sheet is far more expansive, but a lot of info was lost before Chrysler could get it all into their computers. but there's still hope of finding your original paper copy! common locations are behind the door panels, behind the rear wall panel, or shoved under a seat or even in the dash. no real rhyme or reason to it.
  3. 2000-01 limited XJs could have been had with the Icon 16 inchers.
  4. some of you are going to need an airplane hanger for a garage

    wood stoves

forgot to prep the wood for today so that meant wandering out into the cold to the wood rack behind the barn. still learning lessons the hard way I guess. thus far I've been able to remember that the stove is hot so I guess I've got that goin' for me.
  6. that's a heck of a chistmas gift!
  7. no way! can you snap a photo of the t-case lever area?
  8. I can't even remember to take pics of other member's trucks when I pass through town so someone else will need to be in charge of that aspect.

    chevy gates don't count
  10. we had the largest club showing last time at the last all breeds Jeep show in PA. comancheclub.com is currently a forum and only a forum. but it's a website so in theory it could have more to it. I have 0 skills and 0 money when it comes to that though.
  11. 96- every day roasting marshmallows or roasting weenies on the campfire

    wood stoves

I've got an electric fan blowing on it made a huge difference over the first couple days.
  13. for what it's worth, they get posted at the facebook CC page too. if they get a coupon, they might feel uncomfortable because they don't want the thing but feel compelled to get it anyways. a stock truck doesn't have any need for 10 percent off an winch bumper.

    wood stoves

the coldest room in the house is now the warmest. which is a good thing and a bad thing now that the far side of the house where the bedrooms are seems cold (even though it's the same temp as it always was before). I've got a good routine down now. I no longer load up the stove at night (at this point in time it doesn't warm anyone but the houseplants at night) and so I open the coldish stove each morning, clean the glass, empty the ash, build a fire using cardboard and 2x4 splinters, add wood from the bucket as needed all day, then chop up new splinters and split some cord for the next day. I love the fact that I can crack open the ash pan to provide the blowtorch effect to get the fire hot rather than cracking the door. next up is finding a cool old teapot or kettle or something that can hold water to add some humidity. plus I need something a bit more decorative than a plastic tote to hold the wood.
  15. that depends. most personalized things have minimum orders of 100-300 bucks. while you would get a large number of items, I can't afford to throw that at a thing that maybe 20 people want. I'd never recoup my money.
  16. but as you know, that number doesn't mean how much MJ knowledge they have, only how often they hang out and interact on the CC. hence the labels indicating various types of comanche-fever
  17. love the enthusiasm but MJotM is low key for a reason. no contests, no competition, no money involved. the mods pick the recipients and it's near-as-makes-no-difference random. if any gift is to be given out, it would have to be a CC related item, like the coozies. nothing from a vendor (who would arguably be getting "advertising" out of it). I'm not dealing with those sorts of headaches. if anything, you guys should probably start a thread asking what CC merch should exist. has to be cheap. I'm not losing a ton of cash on it like the hats. once something exists, than the MJotM could get a care package of sorts.
  18. we're pretty sure tompeter is a bot of some kind. just the friendly kind? the ranks are what they are. I don't have a lot of choice in that regard.
  19. that's completely unacceptable. like "I want a discount" levels of unacceptable.
  20. that's some of the most military stuff I've ever heard right there. wreck the truck, call for a ride, call for the wrecker, carry on with the job at hand.

    CC cookbook

homemade softshell tacos with ground turkey. nothing fancy, but pretty tasty. I'm trying to figure out what all I can cook on the wood stove.
  22. it's a safe assumption that any drivetrain swap will require shaft changes. even just going from a factory auto to a factory manual.
  23. looks like you'll be getting a ton of good lumber though

    wood stoves

it appears that my tiny stove has an even tinier ash pan. but I found that I can remove it in the morning when everything has died down and shove a baking pan in there and then stir up the main chamber to get the ash to fall. easy peesy
