are you saying you bolted the topper directly to the bed?

don't even bother trying to cut out a floorpan. regardless of the ethical problems with hacking up a perfectly good body, it's simply not worth your time. the floors are held in by a million spot welds and you can get a perfectly good result from just flat sheetmetal. it's all going to be covered by carpet anyways.

it's been like 16 years now, but I still remember a point while building my 88, getting it on rims, and wondering if I may have screwed up and it'd never get out of the garage once on rubbers. it fit just fine, but it was closer than anticipated.

are you posing for a magazine cover? lockers and driving skill are far more important than flex. that extra couple inches of flex means nothing in the real world. also, distance traveled measured at the tire will be more than distance traveled measured at the shocks.

not that it was my choice in the first place (stupid AT+T!!), but I sacrificed super tough (and cheap to replace), for a completely modern software in an even tinier package. the phone model is only a few months old. as you can see, it is small. as in 3 3/4" tall with the case on it. talk to text and google assistant have made the tiny keyboard more or less irrelevant. I don't watch vids on my phone, like ever, so that's irrelevant. although it will easily play them if I'm super bored somewhere. but other than that it's uber modern and the battery will last for days. and, if I ever need the big screen for something, I can slap the SIM into my S7 Active in under a minute. am I happy that ATT forced me to give up my old Rugby Pro? nope. still hate them for it. but this new li'l guy makes me smile, so I'll get by.

pick up one of the rear tires until it gets to where your new bumpstop extension will stop the up travel. front should be simply ordering a shock for an MJ/XJ with X amount of lift.

note the bends in your track bar. if your steering arm had some minor tweaks to it (not even as extreme as the track bar), the angle of the heim joints wouldn't be as extreme. is that heim joint bolt in the pitman arm taped to fit the arm, or did you need to drill it out?

I love a white MJ. only the best designs still look good in white. as you go, remember that you don't have to cover every inch in dynamat, it's really just the big expanses of sheetmetal (doors, roof, rear wall, inside the b-pillars etc ) that could really use some deadening material slapped on them to control the vibrations.
