  1. it's starting to look like a thing!
  2. I would start from scratch with the brake lines. the nickle lines aren't all that much money and you can then know for sure there aren't any other little surprises from the PO.
  3. I guess brakes are important too, but where's that winch?! do you still have the rear prop valve?
  4. well... it's coming from your firewall or the windshield. maybe you can tackle the problem from the engine bay side?
  5. huh, I didn't realize how different the 2 systems were. thanks for the pics!
  6. the foam up by your feet?
  7. that's how a Jeep project goes
  8. no such thing as too many Jeeps. just not enough space or money. Is this a flipper? is the Libby running a little rich in that freeway photo?
  9. the flywheel must match the fuel injection system
  10. or it could be a bad valve/seal allowing oil to drip in to the chamber
  11. that doesn't sound encouraging. It's pretty easy to grab the comp numbers though. I'd probably still do that so I could see if it's across the board or just one failed ring.
  12. what are your compression numbers? mine liked to spew the oil out while driving, but would barely drip while idling. turns out my RMS was failing.
  13. @Rubikahn I split the Q off so it'll get more eyeballs.
  14. you will forever get people giving that thing a second glance. (just don't show them those welds!)
  15. which engine do you have now? does the truck run? 4wd?

  19. MJs have a special bleeding procedure. if you don't follow it exactly, you can get air trapped in the emergency line. you can find it in the link in my signature.
  20. this is probably not wise advice for a daily driver, but for an occasional dump run truck, keep it topped off with gear oil and you might be surprised how long it'll keep going.
  21. O2 sensor is up in the header
  22. crazier methods have been done. I say go for it!

    College Vehicle

your money isn't going towards a 3rd vehicle, it's going towards keeping your 2 best vehicles from ever getting near the college. think sacrificial. like a winter beater.
