  1. the other day I noticed that I'm already splitting open the rear aftermarket foam bumpstops so I ordered and now have installed some poly ones. haven't gone for a ride yet to see how it feels but my Jeep just barely kisses the bumpstop at rest so this might be interesting. (partly due to weight and spring sag, partly due to the aftermarket stops being way taller than the factory ones) whatever happens, I'm certain it's better than the original springs/bumpstops since they were so bad I was sitting steel-on-steel at rest. lol
  2. Merry Christmas!! definitely not getting a white xmas here in GA. lol highs in the 70s means I'm digging my shorts out of the summer box
  3. oooo! endcaps!
  4. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time a seller shot for the moon only to get dragged down to earth by buyers saying "mmmm... nah".
  5. no spare. what about something in the brakes being loose on that side?
  6. is the exhaust smacking into the trans crossmember? that tends to be a common issue, though it can be more of a thunk you feel rather than a clunk you hear.
  7. slight misjudgement on the water table...
  8. when your code guy doesn't care what the previous easement measurement was...
  9. as you're hunting, keep in mind that 84-87 belts do not plug into 88+. they changed the shape of the metal bit for some reason.
  10. I see no restrictions on your account so I'm guessing it's a glitch in the system again. we can try resetting your password. send me a message at comancheclub@hotmail.com
  11. ewww, they painted right over the a-pillar seal
  12. I added an inline prop valve for the rear. highly recommended.
  13. there's no way on god's green earth an insurance company is going to just magically cover it for that level of cash. do your due diligence first to see if you can be covered on this investment. I'd pass on it personally.
  14. 120k is still 120k. that's "low" only by comparison to other old-as-dirt Jeeps. 'tis pretty though keep in mind that 99 was a changeover for the front axle and some brake parts are '98 and some parts are '00.
  15. no clue. my guess is that it was a video about replacing the heater core without fully removing the dash? can we do that? or am I thinking of the Libertys?

no need to worry about that, as it's no longer sitting there to rot. turnover at the self-serves around here is pretty quick and it's already off to become soup cans.
