  1. Well, the two Cali teams are history and the World Serious starts tonight in NY. I believe the two best teams are in it this year. Yanks in Six.
  2. No Dirty, you're dead wrong on that one. My Filipina wife and I have been married coming up on 25 years now. While she's a great wife, she damn sure wouldn't be all that happy to see me if I locked her in her car's trunk with the dog. If fact, she just might try to hurt me. Plus the dog would probably try to bite me. :rotfl2:
  3. Matches what? :dunno:
  4. Lol. No, just to emphasize the point Oizarod115. :D But I'm a thin guy too, so maybe the fat butt guys who say they don't like the bolsters should consider going on a diet? Reckon? :rotfl2:
  5. Naw, I like it the way it is.
  6. I've had both seats in mine, the ones w/o the bolsters and currently the MJ Laredo seats w. bolsters. To me there's no comparision. I much prefer the bolstered seats. As far as the tweed, it matches the door panels. :D
  7. Well said, and exactly right. Unless you enjoy replacing fuel pumps prematurely, keep it in the circuit, and keep the contacts clean.
  8. Good troubleshooting neohic. Dayem mice.........
  9. :agree: Pete. My first white tail as a kid live weighed at 230 pounds in VT. Hunting them down here is like shooting goats...........
  10. Typical Florida deer pic below. The kid weighs more than the deer. :rotfl2: Just kidding.
  11. Nice pics CW. I never get used to seeing the difference in the fall season between the north and south. Up in CT in your pics it looks like the leaves are most all on the ground already; here the maples are just starting to turn yellow. Everything else is still green. :D
  12. Glad to hear it! What did the problem turn out to be?
  13. Get a cheap set of flare nut wrenches - it's the best way to remove the nut w/o destroying it.
  14. A glowing cat can be caused by either condition. In any event, your A/F mixture isn't right. Most logical next step, since you have been thru most of the Renix sensor dance, is to swap in another ECU, preferrably a "borrowed" one. After you make sure the timing is stabilized of course w. the light.
  15. The donor auto ECU can be swapped to troubleshoot your lean condition, but you will need the standard tranny matching ECU if in fact the ECU is bad and is causing your lean condition. The donor auto tranny harness will not be the same as it has provisions for the auto tranny TCU and Neutral Safety Switch (NSS). Let us know how the timing check comes out.
  16. I did this mod a couple of years ago. The pedal was not softer, same firrmness, just took about 50% less pressure to lock the rears up. Also never had a wooshing sound from the booster. Did you utilize the 1/4" alum spacer between the booster and firewall? It's not only a spacer, it also acts to engage the foam seal behind the booster. Also, do a suck and blow test on the check valve in the vacuum line to the booster.
  17. The 89 ECU from the donor will work IF everything matches your 88; i.e. engine, tranny, and the 89 donor does not have the factory security system. This should be the next thing you should do before anything else. BTW, is your timing still jumping around using the timing light?
  18. For me alone, it's the MJ, or two wheels - weather and payload permitting. For w. the wifey (which is uaually the case), it's the Malibu SS or the Mustang. :D
  19. Yep - can't go wrong w. Tom. Jim, what you waiting for? Assume you're still gathering all the parts you need to complete the lift? Good winter project. :D
  20. Changed the oil and filter today. It was a year to the day since I'd done it last, the odo right at 3K miles. Don't drive it as much as I used to........ :D
  21. Yeah, times change quickly. Just a little over three years ago I bought a set of NOS tail lights w. the chrome trim for $40/ea. The dealer also had another pair w. black trim for the same price, but I passed on them. Wish I had purchased them now.........
  22. No, both SWB and LWB MJs came from the factory with factory rollbars. And they do not interchange.
  23. The stock MJ Pitman arm drops about an inch. The ZJ arm drops about 2". Your arm drops 4" it sounds like, 3" over stock? If your wheels are centered in the wheelwell, the parallel geometry is more important the equal lengths of the track bar and draglink. I would change that Pitman arm out with a ZJ arm, or re-use the stock MJ arm, whichever one makes the track bar and draglink most parallel. BTW, are you experiencing any bumpsteer now? If you mentioned it, I must have missed it.
  24. It could be but I doubt it Jeff. Lots of times two or three bidders get caught up at the end trying to "snipe" an item, and end up paying a lot more than they should. In this case waaaaaaaaay more than they should have.
