  1. Grab the dash switch bezel for the cargo light too if it's still there. They are harder to find than the cargo light themselves. :D
  2. Yes, the Borla header has known clearance issues when using the 1999+ intake manifold, but correctable by grinding some off the manifold.
  3. Good job Rob-man. Err, ya didn't send it UPS did ya?
  4. Ya got me goblazers. I've had trouble with that word forever. But in this case it fits. It'll be interesting to see how the Angles fare against the Yanks.
  5. For one thing, replace all the freeze plugs. If one goes bad (if that's where your coolant leak is), the others usually aren't far behind. Use the brass ones. http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoWelshPlugs1.htm
  6. Yes, you are right johnnyc. I was disappointed in the Sox when I posted last. Of course I'll be watchin' the Series, but it just won't be as much fun w/o the BoSox in the mix. :(
  7. 1988 SCCA Truck Series Championship, Archer Brothers Racing
  8. I'm very fond of ZJ and WJ suspension/steering parts that upgrade our MJ's and XJ's, but that's about it.
  9. I'll drink to that. And if we're talking about stock 30-32 inch ATs or MTs larger than stock tires, if it goes up to 2.5-3.0 ounces it's also basically perfection. Except when it comes to Goodyears.
  10. Lol. Spoken like a diehard Yankee hating Sox fan. I left NE a long time ago, and the Yank hatred has mellowed. :D If it comes down to it, I'd root for (gasp) the NL Phillies or the Rockies over the Cali Angels. If it ends up the Angels vs. Dodgers in the series, I ain't watching it. Who cares? If an Obama team ever came to fruition (prolly be from Iraq or Iran though, not Red China), no way; I'd would finally then have to go w. a Cali team..........
  11. No can do. I'll NEVER root for a team from Cali, including the Dodgers who also look like they're well on their way on the other side. Bad as it sounds, got to go w. the Yanks. Wish Manny was back in Boston. :(
  12. AAAAAARRRRG, UB a good man Rob-san. Thanks!
  13. Have to park my truck for a few days for the shame I feel. :(
  14. :agree: Goodyear gatorback belt. Been using them for years. Too bad their tires are max suckage though..........
  15. Did you mean a ZJ steering box Pete? The WJ box is an entirely different animal.
  16. Sounds like you need to do the toe adjustment. You can get it close by following the below: http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoAlignment.htm
  17. Hey James. I've been running the Accel coil on my stroker for years, mainly because of Hesco's recommendation. It does put more voltage to the plugs than the stock coil, and all I run is the solid copper-core Champion plugs. I also pull the plugs randomly and the color has remained ideal, as well as the A/F ratio according to my meter. I gap the plugs @ .040 vs. the stock .035 recommendation. For a stock engine I'd keep the gap @ .035 though.
  18. I used a 96 booster/master from an XJ w. ABS in my 91, but kept my original MJ combination valve and load sensing valve. I don't see any reason why it should not work using the XJ prop valve either as long as the ports are the same as non-ABS.
  19. Oh - didn't know you baptised it w. the BFRH. Yeah, the rails (I think) are just silver soldered at the joints - wouldn't take much beating to spring a leak. Prolly best to get a new old one at the yard..........
  20. Pretty sure it's just the o-ring Wade. Pull it out and bring it down to your friendly Advance Auto or similar - they'll have a suitable replacement. Or you can get the complete o-ring kit from the dealer (injectors and regulator), p/n 83503637, about $14.
  21. If it's unfixable and you have to pull one out of a junkyard, you might think about an oil pan from a 4.2 engine. They are a little deeper because of the 4.2's longer oil pump and hold an extra quart of oil. And they are bolt-on. If I ever have to pull my pan that's what I'm going to put on.
  22. Well, suggest you get it then. Let us know how it works out.
  23. Looking good dasbulliwagen. That's the only front end conversion I'd ever consider doing if I could only find a decent donor close by - always looking too. :D It fits the MJ just right. The 97+ runs a distant second and the Chinese 2500 is hideous IMHO on an MJ. Why not keep the name simple and call it an MJ Wagoneer (vs. XJ Wagoneer) when it's done? Keep up the good work and the pics coming mate.
  24. And if Mama ain't happy, well, you know...........:brows:
  25. Easier maybe, cheaper? Maybe not. The idler pulley bearings are less than $3.00/ea at Fastenal, take about 10 minutes to press out / press in, done. The cost of those bars of soap add up after awhile...........
