  1. Did you change the fuel filter?
  2. I can just imagine the vibrations that thing would have at 85MPH with the tread and thumper engine.
  3. Angles infield (deliberate mispelling) barf up another one. They actually topped their ineptness in game 1. Sorry Cali....... :D
  4. Thanks for sharing that.
  5. :agree: Outer seat belts different too. Inners the same (for the buckets).
  6. The ballast resistor isn't relayed into the FP circuit until after the engine starts. But I suppose it might be a good idea to jumper it out since there's no telling what a previous owner might have done.
  7. Okay Fubar.
  8. Lookin' at your shackle angle it appears that your leaf packs are pretty sagged out. I had the same problem when I first got my LWB 91 MJ. A new set of MT springs brought the rear wheels back centered in the wheel well.
  9. I liked Manny as a Red Sox; he's wasted there in LA. Anyone watching the Yanks/Angels game? How about the Angels non-defense? I've never seen crappier infield play except in the Little League. Two dummies watching an easy popup hit the ground between them. Three defensive errors. This should be a short AL series. :D
  10. Looks good, but curious as to why your rear wheels set so far forward in the wheel well, not centered.
  11. Agree.
  12. Agree X1000. Jon's a good guy, very knowledgable, and stands 100% behind his products. He's an expert Renix guy, and after adding his complete kit after my HO alternator upgrade, I had sensing problems w. my OEM voltmeter. But we figured it out after many emails back and forth. The cure was reinstalling the stock VM sensing wire as designed, and it all is well.
  13. Okay, sounds like no 12V is being applied to the FP relay when you turn the IGN on. Get your meter on either coil pin 85 or 86 (whichever pin is not grounded), turn on the IGN, and see if the 12V signal is applied and that the relay latches. You can hear and feel the relay latch w. your hand if the IGN trigger signal is applied.
  14. I think this is it Rob - an HO header, only maybe not stainless. I have a pic buried somewhere in my archives; still looking. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/product-information.asp?number=17650.01#
  15. The HiCountry tow hook brackets are much better side-pull wise due to input from our knowledgable CC members during their development and are considerably cheaper too. They also act as additional steering box reinforcement, and can accept standard tow hooks or D-ring mounts. http://www.hicountryoffroad.com/Products/Cherokee/Recovery/cher_recovery.htm
  16. I've seen that header before - escapes me now. :hmm: Don't all stock exhaust manifolds have the O2 bung??
  17. Do you mean you see smoke when the blower is on HI speed? Blower motor might be going bad.
  18. Pin 87 is the NO (Normally Open) load contact of the relay and goes directly to the fuel pump. So when you apply 12V to it, your fuel pump runs. What you have to find is why the relay isn't energizing thru the coil contacts (pins 85 and 86) when you turn on your IGN key. Either the 12V to the ungrounded coil pin isn't getting there, or the relay itself might be bad.
  19. Am ASSuming most of these pics have been taken up North in Walmart parking lots? Only reason I say up North is because of the body rot. However, these creations would fit right in here too, in a Walmart parking lot. :ack:
  20. Missed that Eagle - thanks.
  21. AAAAARG! I ASSumed the master fluid levels had been checked already. Note to self: DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING!

    Just for Fun?

Sorting out these two new toys. Both have been sitting for years. :( 1995 MZ Silver Star Image Not Found and 1964 Jaguar E-type coupe Image Not Found The MZ is about done - running great, it's a keeper and will start the cafe conversion over the winter. The Jag was left to me by my brother-in-law. 65K original miles. Got her running and will haul her over to my house and get her ready for a resale over the winter. Doesn't need much except some TLC.
  23. Eagle, I was on there yesterday, but couldn't find any link to the anti-friction pads. BTW...anyone know what centering bolts I need for stock 2WD leaf packs? The standard MJ leaf springs use a 3/8" center bolt; the MT springs use a 1/2" bolt. Why don't you PM HellCreek (Tom), he might have all you need as he builds MJ springs.
  24. If the linkage from the booster thru the firewall to the brake pedal is fine and you have no obvious brake fluid leaks, I think your master cylinder has a blown rubber. Now is an excellent time to upgrade to the 95-96 XJ booster/master cylinder.
