All the block and head casting number info is on the strokers forum and which manifolds will interchage with which head. It's late and I'm not going to try to find it tonight, but I seem to remember there was a difference when Jeeps went from OBDI to OBDII, but it's mostly sensors. I stuck w. OBDI and am running a 96 block w. a 94 head w. a 2000 intake manifold and 04 TJ power steering. TJ's did have differences in other accessory mount brackets though. Go over to the strokers forum and do a search...........

Looks like an amaturish attempt at a flip sale for maximus profit to me............

I've bought and sold two NOS MJ roll bars (called Roll Bar, Sport in the manuals) by searching for the OEM p/n for both the LWB and SWb on various sources. They do come up occasionally at very reasonable prices. :D Show Off! :fool: Not show off SW2 - fact. :fool: Try it, be patient, you might like it.

If you know the part number and do a search on Ebay for the parts you "wish" for you just might find it. Example here: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19572 There's a ton of ongoing NOS MJ parts on Ebay and other sources that have been sucked up by vendors from Chrysler dealership auctions that have gone belly-up. These parts are usually selling at 50% below or more the stealer prices. Seek and you might find. :D

I've seen a lot of members have worn out parking brake foot pedals - found some NOS ones on Ebay - these things are over $200 from the stealer if you can find them. CLICK HERE

Good choices for close in targets Joe. :D But I'd prefer to nail these bastids at least a mile plus out before they pose any danger to the cruise ship passengers. Might teach them a lesson too. Know what I mean Vern? Strictly for insurance purposes.

Glad to see that going on up north too. Northern rednecks. SOP down here Rob.

I grew up with a female Dalmation named Flag during my teen years a long time ago. Looked a lot like your Cleo. She lived 14 years and I never got over the loss, even now. But she instilled in me a love of dogs that I'll always have as she was the first best friend I ever had. I've had many best canine friends since, and it's always very tough when you lose one. Best wishes for Cleo, feel for ya mate.

We would all like to see a lot more of MJ-specific mod stuff but it'll never happen because of the dwindling MJ market. I'm not into modifying that much either, but I do like to build performance and handling into these bricks. So overall I'm happy with the options I have for these goals. I don't have the body rot problem where I live, but I'd like to see more aftermarket options for aft-of-the-cab body parts in case of accidents or whatever. At least we have the XJ interchangability for many many body parts up front, and they will be here for a long time because of the market.

I hear they have modified some of the cruise ships with 5" 54cal gun mounts fore and aft for long range action, 20 rounds under full automatic control in a little over a minute. In case the pirates don't get close enough for the rat a tat-tat's.

All the vets should sign up for this. I already did: :D http://piratesofsomalialive.com/

Window scrapers or rubbers
HOrnbrod replied to Al Evitts's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Looks like this is your first post here. Not that it matters in this case for your year/model for the window "outside rubbers", as all MJs and 4DR XJs (to 1996 I belive) will work. Anyhow, welcome aboard, and detail your MJ year/model in your signature; will make it much easier for us to assist you. -
I'm not even getting into this; oh well maybe a little. But if I did it would be a multipage. If your parents are paying for your edumacation, or even if you're still in HS and you get pissed when they check your grades and "yell" at you because you are screwing up and/or not working, that's all good. They simply want the best for you. And this concept should be easy enough to understand for even the programmed instant gradification w/o work youngsters of today. If your parents stop yelling at you and being concerned, them you should start worrying. :smart:

steering wheel suggestions
HOrnbrod replied to akamcbird's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Nope, that one won't work. No way to wire in the horn circuit guts. Might look good in an MJ though w. a "RETIRED NAVY" plate on the back. :D -
whats the best service manual
HOrnbrod replied to jmderyke's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
 :agree: 100%. FSM full set is the only way to go. They will pay for themselves if you're a DIY in less than a year. Or maybe less than a day if you bring it to the dealer. The correct FSM's for your year/model can often be found on Ebay for cheap. -
steering wheel suggestions
HOrnbrod replied to akamcbird's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Might amend that to state the GM side of the yard. Any pre-airbag GM 60s-90s steering wheel will bolt on our Jeep Saginaw columns. The Buick 3-spoke wheel looked similar to the OEM leather Jeep wheel (that's why I got it), but there are 100's more out there that will work. I even had an Olds Toronado wheel on it too for awhile that was very nice. -
Nice Shelby. Now if you took off that monstrous front bumper and replaced it with something lighter (even a nice OEM), your mileage will get even better. I'll even come over and take it off your hands.

Here's one from a late 70's Buick Turbo Regal: With custom center cap I had made at the local highschool: Here's a Camaro Z28 "rope" steering wheel I had on for awhile w. JeeP center logo: Image Not Found -
When ever I'm in the mood for fresh duck (mallards) or goose (Canadians) meat, I just walk out in the backyard, set behind a tree, and plug one thru the head w. a 22 short when they get in range. They stay in the lake out back year round and are too plentiful.
