  1. It's called your signature. To create one go to the drop-down menu next to your user name at the RH top of the page. Then click on MY SETTINGS -> SIGNATURE. Compose your signature, like the make/year/model/engine of your truck, then click on SAVE. Everyone should do this to help eliminate guesswork and questions.............
  2. Makes sense. The MJ/XJ buckets will be much more comfortable, especially the ones with the large side bolsters. I converted mine years ago using MJ bucket seat brackets and would never go back.
  3. Just noticed you are the original owner of your 87 MJ. Congrats! What made you decide after all these years to put bucket seats in?

  5. It's a lightly coated galvanized steel. Not really needed in LA, but good for up north.
  6. No, I sure don't. He passed away when I was pretty young and I have no idea what happened to them.

  8. Damn you Rob. :fs1: I played the video and now I can't get that stupid music out of my head. Over and over - It's driving me crazy....... AARRGGHHHHHH!
  9. That is an impressive "out of the box" build and must be a x3+ power / torque increase over the original ~60 HP engine. Very cool and well done.
  10. If the issue remains as is after disconnecting the TV cable, the problem is not the TV cable. Also make sure you are not in the comfort mode.
  11. What year, what engine, etc. etc. Either way, the o-ring is probably missing from the distributor shaft.

  13. My grandfather had several of them and I remember driving one as a nine year old kid. He was all about Hudson and Nash trucks.
  14. Hudson pickup, the original El Camino.
  15. I bought those brackets to install some "fat" shocks on my JK and ended up not using them. But they work great on the XJ/MJ front bar also as you can see. Synergy 8086-02.
  16. Thanks Adam. I've thought they might be a neat option too, but since I'm also 6' tall, I'll move on to thinking about other options...
  17. Dumb question here regarding the XJ "rocker" seat tracks. Since the MJs never came with these, are you guys swapping the MJ pedestals to the XJ rocker seat brackets? Just curious...........
  18. The Explorer 8.8 axles are common with disk brakes too. Win-win.
  19. The cop did his job as he should have. You made yourself stand out, lol, both on your truck and by forgetting basic common sense things, lol, and your pissed about it? Pay the fine, learn from it, and CYOA always in the future. Been there, done that, as I'm sure most of us have.
  20. ^^ Right you are Mike - my bad. Post edited..........
  21. Okay - for your 87 4.0 w. column shift and tilt, the Jeep parts manual calls for ignition switch p/n J3250575 J3250575. This ignition switch is pictured on the below link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Mopar-J3250575-Switch-/191668821651?hash=item2ca05a1e93:g:ryQAAOSwMmBV1ff3&vxp=mtr If your CS83 switch looks exactly like this, it's supposedly correct. If there are visible differences, you will need switch CS84. Did you align the rod?
  22. Looks about normal for a TB that's been neglected for years. Don't forget to pull the sensors and clean the passageways. Take care removing them from the TB so you don't tear their tiny gaskets.
