  1. The Flames? Yeah, they have never been any good, mediocre at best. The Blue Jays are an excellent baseball team, well managed and their fans really support the team. Having a team up like that outside the US is good for the game.
  2. Yuk - yuk. Since your NHL teams suck big time on the ice now, maybe it's time y'all move to the grass, eh?
  3. Great bird fight game - congrats to the Canadian baseball fans. :Canadaflag: In nature a blue jay usually wins against an oriole too. I hope the Jays go far in the playoffs, until, if they make it that far, the Red Sox kicks their collective azzes.
  4. Knowing the character of this trash bag, he'll probably go out a steal you a nice one. Just trying to inject a little humor to make you feel a bit better. Your title for this post is spot-on.
  5. Did you tell them a decent MJ tail light costs about $500?
  6. Got that right. Even if the stock distributor's not the problem, the 95 you bought is a good upgrade. I've had two no start problems; bad CPS and sync sensor, and both showed up as fault codes. Worth a try.
  7. Good Rick. You? You gotta get on here more often mate. http://comancheclub.com/topic/28111-reading-obdi-91-and-92-mj-fault-codes/
  8. Did you check for fault codes Rick? And yes, you can replace the sync sensor in the 91 distributor, but you're better off replacing the 91 dizzy with a 94 and up unit. http://comancheclub.com/topic/37024-replacing-distributor/?hl=sync+sensor
  9. You're not wrong. The only nuts on the axle are the lug nuts.
  10. http://www.ebay.com/itm/16-New-Plastic-Recessed-Depressed-Center-Sheet-Metal-Body-Panel-Plug-Buttons-/232098488300?fits=Make%3AJeep&hash=item360a25dfec:g:VYYAAOSwCGVX7VEo&vxp=mtr Lowes has them too.
  11. No, XJs only.
  12. I had the clutch kit installed for peace of mind when I had mine regeared. You can get the kit for less tan $80 - do a search for Dana-Spicer 22233X.
  13. Try some graphite on the new window channels.
  14. Common problem. An easy solution is to move the vacuum canister into the engine bay where it belongs. I did mine like like this. There are more examples in the DIY forum.
  15. Rolling down the passenger window remotely is handy when you want to subtly throw your empty beer can out the window.
  16. Most likely your sway bar links are too short.
  17. Is this console in your MJ? If so, what vehicle did it come from? Doesn't look like any Jeep console I've seen.
  18. If you drop the column as described, then you can reach in and unplug the ignition switch and look for fried terminals on the connector. If the connector looks okay, then you probably just need to adjust the rod. Depending on if your column is tilt or non-tilt and what year truck, the switch might look different than the link, but the procedure is basically the same. The main thing you want to do is eyeball the connector pins.........
  19. When I lived in VA I used to fish the surf down at Nags Head, NC a lot, especially when the rockfish and blues were running, Do you get these fish down your way in the Gulf at all?
  20. If your ignition switch is maladjusted or the connector is fried (common problem) there could be no power to the brown wire that feeds the blower fuse in the RUN position. I suggest you at least visually check this switch and connector first. Here's a good link to check/adjust your ignition switch. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/basic-maintenance-ignition-switch-1226376/ Ignition switch alignment procedure:
  21. Unfortunately the bucket seat bracket side covers are MJ specific and, of course, NLA. P/n's 5AD50JY6 and 5AD51JY6.
  22. I did mine by swapping in new XJ aftermarket power regulators and stock switches, then making a wiring harness to hook everything up. Others have simply swapped the regulators, switches and a harness from an XJ using junkyard parts. Either way it's not difficult. I don't know of any writeups done on this, but I can send you a wiring harness diagram if you want.
  23. I wouldn't use dielectric grease since it's non-conductive and will cause problems down the road. Use a conductive lubricant like Electralube or similar.
  24. Why are you guys so against power windows? It's pretty easy to convert and you can't even get decent used manual regulators anymore. I don't get it...............
  25. How many beers will it hold?
