Yes, I have one on my passenger side.
  2. From the info provided and the single picture, it looks like a "go" in my opinion. If it is an automatic, you'll have the AW4 transmission which would be more desirable than the BA10 manual 5 speed in '87. Give it a good look underneath for rust on the floorboards and frame rails from the cab back.
  3. Looks good.........now of course we want to see them on the truck!
  4. Just curious, what brought you to this conclusion? Have you done anything else since your last posts? Have you flushed the heater core in addition to the rad?
  5. It's a Jeep! Hope this works out and we get to meet my friend!
  6. Dude, unless something major comes up, if you're there I'm there!
  7. Best bet is to start looking for a rust free bed. The problem with a body shop doing it is behind your flares it's probably worse than you can see now, as Pete pointed out. And specifically, if the embossed ridge around the wheel opening that the flare mounting brackets attach to are rusted out, you're talking some long hours for a talented guy to cut out, replace and reform those ridges.
  8. Yeah, I remember the thread about the Chinese parts but that it was difficult to get them. Not the answer I was hoping for on swapping older panels on. Oh well........no worries.
  9. I know I've seen this discussed on here before, but too tired (lazy!) to do a search tonight. So do interior door panels from pre-97 XJ/MJ's attach to 97+ doors without major issues? One day I'd like to have the full window instead of the quarter window for less possible leaks and noise.
  10. Just want to clarify some incorrect info I posted on this thread for those that may come across in a search later on. While considering installing either 4 or 12 hole injectors for my stock Renix and reading A LOT of info on multiple forums, somewhere I came across a comment that stock 1-hole pre-HO injectors had a flow rate of 23.2/lb. That is INCORRECT. Stock injectors on Renix 4.0L's run somewhere in the 19+/lb range, less than 20. Sorry for any confusion!
  11. JMO, that info I posted on stock injectors running at 23.2/lb is incorrect, unfortunately I don't even remember where I came across that as I was reading multiple sources of info on different forums when I was researching 746 injectors. As Eagle pointed out above, the correct rate on stock 1-hole injectors is 19+/lb. Sorry to add to your confusion.
  12. These are available fairly cheap. Check out NEO's resto cleanup on his truck, it shows the brand and part number for these exact replacements.
  13. Craigslist is your friend, as is Facebook Marketplace
  14. Collins Bros, to my knowledge, is best know for resto work on CJs and Scramblers.
  15. I believe our late Hornbrod had General Springs, Metric-Ton version, and was always touting them as well made. My factory MT packs have a fair amount of sag with minimal load so I plan to replace them sometime in the near future. Because I have heard GS will basically custom make a set, I hope to get MT packs with @3" of lift.
  16. What part of VA?
  17. That thing is friggin CHERRY!
  18. LOL, but at least he COULD go off road as opposed to the low-rider F250s I referenced above! Why have a tricked out monster V8 in a car if the max speed limit is 70mph and stoplight 0-60 runs will get you a wreckless driving ticket? A lot of times it's about what the vehicle COULD do, what's it's potential? Same thing with crotch rockets. And even car stereos. Why have 5000 watts, a trunk full of 15" subs and 20 ear-bleeding tweeters inside LOL? What CAN it do, not what WILL it do.........It feeds our alpha male instinct.
  19. Agreed. I think it's just a photoshop anyway to see what people would say. Either way, it's not permanent. LOVE the Squatch switch FWIW!
  20. Because he can.........
  21. Try Eagle One Never Dull, available at any auto parts store and Wally World. Supposed to be really good on plastic chrome trim. Lots of vids on YouTube on polishing and clear-coating plastic chrome. From the look of those, I would say they just need a MILD polishing, they look really good already actually.
