Parts are parts. Just need to learn the 'means to the madness' with the Ford part numbers. Should come easy for you.

Ωhm, yeah I hit a point where I need a job and said well I’ll endure the madness that is fomoco part numbers.  I got kinda lucky by walking in, filling out an application and interviewed in one shot.

Congrats!  Make sure to drive your MJ to work the first day so that it can properly mark it's territory in the parking lot :-)

Hahahaha she doesn’t leak that much actually. I might be the only vintage Jeep guy at ford but we will see.

Great news!

 

My wrangler really made a big show of marking it’s territory at work.

Oil sending unit popped 3/4 of a mile from work. Big cloud of smoke and a trail all the way to my parking spot.

That’s not fun. Course I had a brake line blow out on me on my way to work once and that’s how I knew the prop valve bypass still works.

So the first day went pretty well. I kicked some butt and fell back into what was my groove. Its not Mopar and there is some Mopar parts around their warehouse that serve as gentle reminders. All in all, it was a good day.
